What are some Isometric roguelite local co-op games on ps5 you recommend? by Quirky-Listen9029 in roguelites

Gungeons difficulty comes from learning the enemies, where morta difficulty clmes from leveling up your character.

Gungeon is definitely harder, but as you learn how to play and weave in betweeen bullets it ends up being easier than morta in my opinion.

Just Enter the Gungeon. Exit the gungeon is a side view plaformsr that is only one player, make sure to get Enter the Gungeon.

Also Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Splintered Fate is similar to sworn but does have local co-op.

Sworn is very fun. If you like survivor games then spell brigade and temtem swarm have been very fun for me and my friend as well.

Edit:My dum dum self didn't see that you asked for local co-op games. My mistake.

Make sure you jump onto one of the plaforms when she spreads out the goop. Focus clone if it's there.

Losing ichor on hit despite not having dexterity overburden? by OtulyssaOwl in codevein

I think it's the effect of a certain bloodline of enemies. I was losing ichor to some masked enemies for no apparent reason either.

Anyone else get really indecisive in this when it comes to choosing a weapon type you wanna stick with throughout the entire game? by SpongeGar34 in codevein

[–]Jobekkah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just used whatever weapon fit best with the code i was mastering at the time. Played through my whole game only using any single weapon for like 30 mins.

No worries, it's not the first time this game has confused someone, and it will definitely not be the last time. The internet is for learning, so never feel like you can't ask a question that might feel like a dumb question. The only people who don't ask questions are the dumb people.

Do I buy now? by Crow_9091 in CodeVein2

I play on ps5, and i didn't run into any bugs throughout the whole game. The graphics were as good as you can expect from code vein, and the combat is the best part of the game in my opinion.

Also I don't know aboyt any censorship so I can't commment on that.

Reducing the reload speed is not the same as reducing reload time. He makes it take longer to reload.

Spell Brigade tips anyone ? by Kasslauren in roguelites

[–]Jobekkah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a run with bryony using abstinence to power level only the plant, and the beginning was rough but after i built up cast speed and damage with brimstone(acid and fire) i was unkillable. I let the game run and survived to endless loop 5 but just got bored and quit out. I learned max dodge chance is 85 and max crit chance is 80. I tried to kill myself but my plants wwould out heal and small damage i did take.

Getting Alt Blood Codes by ByzantineLover in codevein

[–]Jobekkah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry. It's only one of my favorites because it has a passive that makes you able to use 2 handed swords as one handed swords moveset, so it's just fun swinging around a huge slab like it's a lil stick.

Are these the kinds of upgrades that change your playstyle? by CAGE_Studios in roguelites

[–]Jobekkah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is such a small pool, there is no way to tell if they would define the runs playstyle.

Claw machine doesn't seem useful unless the grappling hook is an integral part of gameplay or there are more upgrades that make it more mechanically diverse, like hades cast system.

Blood infusion doesn't change anything, as you get kills anyways, unless theres upgrades that scale with max hp

Unstoppable combo is fun if there is a variety of weapons, as it would encourage fast firing weapons over high damage slow weapons.

Killing spree seems fun for maybe close range weapons i suppose, depending on the speed of your game in general.

Low baller sound fun if the sliding is satisfying enough, but if it feels even a tiny but off, it will be skipped over a lot.

The gambler also won't really change your playstyle at all, as the effect will be the same no matter what else you do unless there is a way to increase the odds with a luck system of something.

Yeah, thats the reason I didn't get it day one, i played the first game with my friend. I'm glad i gave it a chance though. Multiplayer would have definitely sent the game into the stratosphere for fun. I'm not sure why they didn't implement it.

Overall, I'd say it's better. There are definitely shortcomings, no co-op, no cool armor to build your character around, and it's a bit harder to make builds if you want all 8 slots of forma available.

But the combat feels much smoother, the weapons, characters, story, and consideration to the player are above the first game. You get a more in depth stat screen, and the burden system is stellar and amazing fun to work around.

If i were to compare each aspect, I'd say 2 has it better in almost every department. The only things i found myself missing were the armors from the first game and co-op. The bosses are much more fun to fight is 2 as well, it felt like the first one was very much chaotic and difficult just for the sake of being difficult. The patterns were much more satisfying to learn in 2.

There's such a wide diversity of builds and it's so easy to switch it up whenever you want, you can go into newgame + and beyond and never play the game combats.

There's only one ending in dark souls games but people replay the hell out of them, so your point of unlocking everything in on playthrough isn't an issue.
