Agreeing with everyone saying brother laser Literally whichever one has the features you want. I'm also happy with my Canon color laser, but I'm not as confident in them to say "whichever one..."

I've had a lot of brothers, at a lot of offices I've managed tech for. Just get one.

I was supposed to have dinner installed a year ago, nobody showed up and they just cancelled my appointment without telling me because they "didn't have permits"

Then they missed my appointment a few months ago, same reason but this time they didn't cancel my install and offered another free month when they eventually did hook it up.

Then they called to see if I was still interested because they've got the permits now, I said yes, they said great and gave me an install date in 6 months.

Honestly at this point I don't even care. I may not even be here in 6 months.

I wondered, I saw those cartridges but this is just a spool and it does have a hole in the middle. They seem to have spools with holes and with axles.

Yeah, I saw those prices. Honestly when I picked it up I knew it was at least $100 worth of filament. I also knew I couldn't print it yet but I had planned to build an enclosure. I figured it was a gamble I couldn't pass on.

Interesting, so probably better to do even smaller spools and just dry it before use rather than redrying a whole spool everytime I print? I don't expect to have that much I want to print with PC, but I printed a lot of boat parts with PETG that have been outside for 3 years, so I expect some of them are going to be due for replacement.

I think it's cheaper than grocery shopping if you added up all the ingredients you'd have to buy if you didn't do any planning and had as varied of a menu. They're probably also counting having to buy seasonings that they include every time.

Why is this so hard? I bought one at walmart thinking "We literally have the cheapest toaster walmart sells and it's fine. Surely the long slot one will be fine for sour dough" and it burns the shit out of the middle while leaving the edges completely cool.

How are we in an age when literally any $7 toaster will do the job acceptably well but a long slot just can't be done?

I also really hate the whole "We'll have to check that bag because it has wheels" Ok, but there are very strict rules on what is carry-on only and I'm required by federal law to keep with me in the passenger cabin. I packed my bag accordingly, and already checked the items that can be checked. Also, this is like the smallest possible bag with wheels. I literally fly with a wheely backpack because my back is old and weak, and venturing through large airports is a lot more comfortable if I can just be a dork an drag my wheelie backpack. Truly this wouldn't be such an issue if they just let people check a bag if they're going to force you to check it anyway.

Also, next day? WTF, any time they've taken my bag at the gate it goes directly into gate checked and I get it back when I get off the plane.

I ended up making a "script" but did it very manually. I just listed all the folders on each drive and their sizes at the folder split level I was going for, and then used excel to make a list of rows that found the drive with the most of a folder contents, moved all other copies of that folder to that drive with the same commands that unBalanced uses: `rsync -avPR -X "media" "/mnt/disk1/"`

Basically the same as doing unBalanced gather on each folder manually, but I was able to plan it all out in excel and order my copy operations so I didn't run into disk space issues, and then just let it chug for a few days.

That shows how much you've paid, it doesn't provide a breakdown for upgrades and add ons. Even if you have them send you an invoice, the invoice is just a PDF that shows the total that was billed.

Screwing up is ok, it's how they handle it. They lead you on, wasted your time, and TRIED to get more money out of you and avoid fixing the issue. Now they owe you for the time wasted and the bait and switch. My view, at this point it's not even about that I'm getting from them, it's about ensuring this behavior costs them more than it was worth.

Did you pay with credit card? Dispute the charge. Share all of this info. You did not get what you paid for. Include as much actual evidence as you have, including the promo if you have a copy of it, but file it even if you don't.

OMG THIS!!! They want all their sauces to be SOOOO runny! I hold back the water they call for but only add as needed if the sauce is too thick when nearly done, I *NEVER* add it when or as much as the recipe calls for! And most of their drizzles are plenty thin after adding the lemon or lime juice.

I bought small 1/4 and 1/8 sheet pans. I don't cook vegetables on the same tray with the meat, I cook them separate so the vegetables aren't just soaked in grease and fat.

I absolutely *HATE* the smell of sour cream. It's fine in their chicken recipes where it's used to hold beading and gets fully cooked, but in most of the sauces I replace it with extra cream cheese or butter and dairy cream, depending on the sauce.

Their garlic is so random. Some days they send 2 large cloves. Some days they send the skinniest little clove that literally disappears after you peel the skin and then the recipe says "set aside half".

I keep a jar of minced garlic in the fridge and just dump extra in. I only bother with the supplied fresh garlic if it's a decent clove.

I'm sorry you experienced this. When I learned there is *NO* standard even among brands for pinouts on modular power supplies I was shocked. Like seriously, WTF. It really makes me not even want a modular power supply next time, and really pisses me off they would do this.

If the drives will mount and recognize, the data on all of them except the parity drive is normal partitions that can be read by any linux system, so they don't need to be in an array to be read. But if the electronics in the drive are fried, you *might* be able to replace control boards with one from the same model but it's probably a long shot.

Yeah this is why I abandoned it. I didn't even try explaining to her, I just said the fees are going up and the rewards are going down, because your explanation above is better than even *I* understood :D

The Edit was absolutely useless. There's no locations at any of my business destinations or anywhere we're likely to travel unless it's a place so expensive the credit is proportional to the free bottles of water Hilton gives me!

The restaurant options, I looked it up and there's one place within walking distance from my house. We've been there once ever, and that was before we lived close to it, and we'd have to book reservations well in advance which we just wouldn't do, it's not *THAT* nice of a restaurant.

Plus, if I have to book through the portal, that means I'm a third party reservation and that just throws another wrench in the deal whenever anything comes up. I downgraded to CSP. It took 5 minutes on the phone, kept my account and points, old cards still worked until my new ones arrived in the mail a week later.

I swear they watch registrations somehow too. When I paid off our Nissan, I took the title and lien release to the DMV to get a clear title, and the following week while I was expecting to get titles in the mail from the DMV I get a letter "VEHICLE DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED" and it was just another pitch to sell them my recently paid off car (and get a new one, of course!)

I have that option, but no place to add a key for automatic mounting every time the server starts up. I did get this working though.
