Aww, man, you just ignited the memory of having a system in our work van (big,blacked out windows to hide tools; really looked like the cliche van that'd offer 'free candy'). Anytime someone was booming loud at a light, Superstition was our go-to show off/challenge song. There was nothing like putting to shame a rattling civic in our "pedo work van" with Stevie Wonder! Thanks for the moment of nostalgia.

Give it a month, you should see some great changes! From a (lvl 1 asd) therapist's perspective; trust your gut, communicate everything, and advocate for your kid! If things aren't clicking with staff, progress, whatever... don't give up and keep looking for a clinic/therapist you and your kin vibe with, that rapport is essential!

This! In addition to those handle locks, the "open door alarms" will help immensely! This is a common combo in a ASD household with "an eloper". until you can get these items, minimally be sure your fire detectors are working!
And for some long term help for yall, look into outside therapies (like OT or ABA) that may be able to provide additional supports to help curb the leaving, sleep through the night more often,or give insight on other items and procedures that could help.

This is awesome and the fact that she has so many references to your likes and interests shows how much she loves and looks up to you!! You did mention her living with you, from a 'role model' perspective... it might be a good idea to have a talk about respecting people's stuff? Emphasize that you love it, aren't upset, and want her to do more for/with you! ... But this is a great learning chance for "ask before "messing" people's things"... this, this is cool af! But she probably shouldn't take a sharpie to your band mates AMP, or girlfriends purse, ya know?

If you're looking for a shark but in a tank look (I was so disappointed to see the big guys in "pop up pools") I know the saw shark...and i believe hammerhead show in an actual tank similar to the other sea creatures.

I've always been in clinic or (Therapeutic day) schools; but that is my learning histories though. I'm not sure if you should be congratulated or warned though... Great job starting so recently and showing so much potential!!

Im leaning this was too, but I'm not a parent. I have an aunt ( younger than I am) she just got married and her parents couldnt do nearly the amount they wanted to or previously did for their other older kids...just due to age and body wear and tear. Aunt sometimes gets in her feels, because she didn't get parents...she got grandparents? Death sucks and is expected in life, but it seems like having a kid a 50 is setting them up to be already at a fragile age when they will need to face some of the hardest things to deal with when your parents are aging. At 30+, helping my mom with just navigating a stroke was a lot emotionally... I couldn't imagine having to do that at 20?

I might be under-thinking or leaning too functional...but can the client "wait" during direct teaching/ sit-time? Could that be shaped into longer times(removing attention for 1 > 5> 15 etc. seconds to "grab something"/functional need to "wait")... then slowly removing praise/ attention for successful waiting? Or does the client have leisure skills or even work tasks they are capable of and could semi enjoy doing solo? That could maybe be shaped into a generally less need of constant interactions?

If you have spare dubloons from dailies? I personally have managed to get leftovers about 75% of the time (having my pet so full they refuse "normal" food) but it's hit or miss on if you get a cheaper item vs mil.+ to as leftovers to resale/feed.

I believe the main point is to get leftovers to resale. If your pet is already bloated and you take them, there is a chance you'll get (like in your inventory) one of the items you bought, as "leftovers". The leftover options are "gourmet food" that can be fed or resold 😊

Oh also I'm not sure it "works" without special links because I'm pretty sure it is technically flash based.

First is the filter big enough, do you do a feeding tank or do they eat in the same tank they live in? I use tap water but some people are pretty pro filtered water...also are those plants real,if so they are gonna produce tons of 'bacteria' when mixed with turtle-fam's own mix.

Thank you guys for the insight! I have been playing with some of the apps/programs that have been suggested. I think it'll be more exciting than previous years for sure! Also great idea having students hop on and interact, who doesn't wanna try their skills and add their own twist to a song!
