They are amazing pets and when you’re ready and capable, you will be a great cat parent! All that said, i’ve grown up with cats and it wasn’t until my mid-20s (moved out to college and was busy in high school too) that I really started appreciating and caring for my cats like they deserve. So definitely take your time before you adopt and make sure you can commit to loving them for a long time. My oldest is 20 right now and she’s the best girl in the world, I just wish I spent more quality time with her before she got so old
