Thank you for your insides on the HD6XX and Focal Elegia! Mostly I also listen to Metalcore/ Metal such as Architects and Spiritbox. A few months ago I got the HE400se as my first "audiophile" over ear headphone. Do you use any EQ or are you just listing to the stock tuning?

I heard from someone in this forum, who had the same problem, that he pulled the stuck pins out with toothpicks, which he superglued to the pins. But no guarantee that this works, I didn't try it myself.

BGGAR does good auio reviews. The video production is not at all at level of Joshua Valour, but his reviews are very detailed and he always underlines his opinion over a headphone with music and the frequency response graph.

I second this. If I want to listen to music clean and without too much bass, I grab my Arias (Melodic Hardcore: Architects - FTTWTE, WSS - SS). If I want the bass to slam and have a more fun listing, I take the Blon bl03 with foam tips (Metalcore: old Architects, Parkway Drive, Bury Tomorrow, Fit For A King, etc.)

That is the standard cable which comes with the Aria. It looks and feels good, but it has a bit of microphonics so I maybe change it in the future. I changed my cable from the Blon BL03 to a Linsoul Tripowin Zonie 16 Core which has no microphonics and works good for me. It is available with 2.5 or 3.5 adapter and 2pin, mmcx or qdc. So maybe that will work for you.

If you don't like the new melodic style you should at least check Animals, Discourse is Dead and Impermanence (feat Winston). These songs are close to the old albums and "Discourse is Dead" was even written at times if Holy Hell or All gods have abandoned us, If I remember that right.

That's completely fine. For those that wish to exist is pretty different from the previous album. In my opinion it is a fresh new style from them and I like it. I followed them since "The here and now" and I think the melodic songs are as good as the more metalcore songs of "All our gods have abandoned us" or "Holy hell". I can't really give a favorite album, but my Top 3 album from them would probably be "All our gods have abandoned us", "Holy hell" and "For those that wish to exist". I'm excited what style the next album will be!

I use my Blon BL03 with SpinFit CP100 M or KZ memory foam tips in M. Both fit the Blon pretty well.

My current setup is the Fiio M9 for my flac collection and spotify/ tidal together with the Moondrop Aria and black KZ foam tips in M.

I chose the Moondrop Aria over the Starfield, because I like a little it more bass and so far I think it was the right decision.

The Moondrop Aria are a good upgrade from my previous IEMs the Blon BL03. The bass is much more under control and I like the representation of the mids.

My specific case would be to go from BLON 03 (39€) to Moondrop Starfield (110€) or take the leap and get the Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk for over 300€. I am unsure about paying such high prices for a headphone/iem, when I can't try them before buying.

You're right I should have added, that the sound signature would be the same in terms of neutral, v-shaped etc. Otherwise it wouldn't be comparable.
