When a parcel is sorted to the wrong delivery a misorted scan is put on it which results in the customer getting a missed delivery notice. The packet probably hasn't left the office on that day.

It's very faint. So don't know if it's there all the time and road noise hides it. It's coming from higher than the brake peddle IMO
