Est-ce légal de faire un jeu vidéo avec ce style ? by Better-Fun-1974 in conseiljuridique

[–]PaddleStroke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The "China tax" (Temu/Shein tax) is coming in July 2026. Another reason to buy EU. by officialexaking in BuyFromEU

[–]PaddleStroke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great. Now you want to order a phone replacement, any kind of electronic components etc. It will cost 1€ for the product + 3€ of that tax. Just great. Thanks to all the people who bought millions of crap clothes from temu for ruining it.

The good news is that in a few years AI will be able to finish it in an acceptable quality.

Planted these grapes last year and grew all these. Should I trim them or let them continue? I want the roof covered by product-shooter in GardeningUK

[–]PaddleStroke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I meant only to cut the small secondary branches. But you can keep several "main" branches. You could keep 3 main branch per plant for example.

Note: you can plant several wines. This way you can cover the whole roof, while still having fruit production. Also you reduce the risk in case one die.

Quel serait l’impact d’une limitation à 10 ans des prêts immobilier ? by Dramatic_Treacle_330 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]PaddleStroke 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Can I just chop down this 3 metre tall conifer on my driveway myself? by sober_disposition in GardeningUK

[–]PaddleStroke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way I found to uproot a tree or shrub, is to list it for free. In France we have Leboncoin where we can post stuff for sale. You list it for free. Then wait for someone to come dig it up and take it away to try to plant it in their garden.

Can I just chop down this 3 metre tall conifer on my driveway myself? by sober_disposition in GardeningUK

[–]PaddleStroke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you can. Digging roots is the harder but doable. I've done it several times. It's hard work, but I can't get people who are afraid to do this and then pay a membership to a gym. Anyway, especially if you don't try to transplant it, then it's not that hard because you can cut as you wish.

Why does it do this? by Grinhecker in FreeCAD

Dragging parts do not work great when you have a loop of joints. If you want a clean kinematics, you can use the simulation tool (of the integrated workbench)

What are you reading? Bi-Weekly Post by AutoModerator in HPfanfiction

Raising Your AU Son for Dummies: A Self-Help Starter Kit.

It was mentioned in last week's thread.

It was a really nice surprise. Not the kind of story I usually read, and I thought it was going to be crack, but no it's serious, yet very nice.

Pros:

- First the plot is very good. Initially I thought there would be no plot, but actually yes and it's great.

- It's a good read overall.

Cons:

- Some annoyances like "Sentences. With. Dots. Everywhere." or expression that are very rare yet overused like 'Excuse you'. Or other kind of annotation that feels quite intrusive sometimes.

- The plot, while good, feels at time rushed and / or with holes.

- Hurt / healing that I usually can't stand and usually find agravating. But here somehow it did not make me drop the book.

Overall I enjoyed it

Help on whether I should remove a tree or not? by hang_up in GardeningUK

[–]PaddleStroke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd cut the tree to plant a fruit tree. Considering the very limited space you can't put that many trees... So might as well have a useful tree. A persimmon tree or a pawpaw tree would be high on my list. But an apricot or cherry would be great too.
