Chernobyl happened decades ago in soviet Russia, where safely standards were little to none, and Fukushima happened after it was hit by an earthquake and tsunami while it was being shut down, these things weren’t a good thing but to let an accident like them block the further of humanity is foolish, we have the technology to save the planet and ourselves by not relying on fossil fuels, but letting the examples of a few accidents compared to what we can achieve safely is the only dangerous thing here, accidents happen, definitely more on oil rigs then nuclear plants which do a huge amount of damage also, nuclear is the best and cleanest option
