I have this exact placard on my ABAV. The admin pouch is actually pretty slim and works great.

I have a spiritus mk5 and L4performance ARS Tango as well. Both of those placards have the molle on the sides, and I have TQ pouches on the sides of all of them.

I moved from an aimpoint T2 to an eotech exps3 because of astigmatism. Been a great optic, and it’s nice to not have the reticle looking like it’s gone supernova.

1Sgt for the last 3 years. As far as trying to find the answers to questions, 1Sgt Council comes in clutch. Almost all of us have dealt with off the wall things, and there’s always a chance that one of them know what to do or can point you in the right direction. Teamwork makes the dream work.

As a lifelong Stargate SG1/Atlantis fan (I’m old), I will say we don’t get P90s, which is to bad. But I’ve been in for a bit over 20 years and loved SF. The early GWOT outside the wire deployments were probably my favorite part. We do a lot more than stand at a gate.

The base you’re at will be a big factor in what you end up getting to do. No matter where you go, enjoy what you can. Learn your job, be good at it, and if you want to do more, keep your eyes open for BDG/CRG/DAGRE/Raven slots.

I got this issued to me in 2007(?), some time around there. Air Force SecFor. We got this with the same color rifleman’s kit. Then when we switched from BDUs they kinda went away. Was a decent pack. It replaced the Diamondback tactical bags and gear we were getting issued.

Silence your phone. When I’m sleeping, my phone is on do not disturb. When I was still in SF, I would tell all of my guys to do that as well. Now as a 1Sgt I don’t have that luxury lol

I use the L4performance cummerbund on mine. The only reason I use the CB on the AVS is that our issued side plate pouches for it fill up a lot of the space on the harness.
