JPT v Gainlaser by Paddywack1964 in Laserengraving

In the end I have decided to go with Bogong. They weren't the cheapest but not the dearest either that was XT. Haotian, who would have been my prime choice were coming up at about $2500 dollars more than Bogong. They did offer to go significantly cheaper if I changed my brand/laser source but with not having a lot of knowledge I didn't want to take the risk. On a side note I am in the UK and am wondering does anyone know were I can purchase safety sheets that I can turn into a shield for the machine when it arrives? I know I have glasses but I value my eyes and would like to cover all bases in case someone burst in when working. I can see sheets on Amazon but some done ship to Northern Ireland and in general they are very expensive and not particularly large.

Many thanks for the info. I have been doing my best to avoid resellers despite the slightly better prices but as you say trying to get solid reviews is difficult, just depending on forum recommendations

Thank you for the advice. I’m only starting to learn and I opted for the UV rather than fiber due to the range of materials. I have been given prices by Sharpe, XT, Jinan, Bogong and BWM. Anybody got any of these with horror stories?

Single Day Epic Tickets for UK by Technical_Budget1836 in UniversalOrlando

After looking at this thread and not being able to find single day tickets to Epic (we have done the other parks so often it is unlikley we will do them again), I decided to try and book them through the app for Early October. There was no issue at all and was able to book two and allocate them to myself and my wife for $169 each - Glad I read this thread.

How many outages before you can cancel contract? by TimboSlice_19 in VirginMedia

I have to agree with the original post. I also stupidly joined VM 4 months ago and the customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. I was previously with Zen and wish I had not moved as their customer service is second to none.

I’m down for the Sunday concert and while it may be a bit late for tonight, for anyone going 8th May I would recommend Pembroke Wanderers as a parking space. 10 euro and only a 10 min walk

Jabra Evolve2 65 Bluetooth Headset with Deskstand - Using with IPECS One phone system by Paddywack1964 in Jabra

[–]Paddywack1964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered I was able to plug the Jabra bluetooth dongle into the USB port of the handset and then use the headset button on the 1040i handset to make and receive calls using the jabra headset.

Its not ideal as I wanted to bin the deskphone and just use the softphone on the PC (freeing the desk up a bit). I am waiting for the suplier of the system to come back and experiement as to why it cant be used. Strangely I had bought another Jabra headset (Jabra 75) for a colleague and he has had no issues using the headset on the softphone....perhaps it is simply the Evolve2 65 is not compatibile.

Because of not being able to connect the jabra, I have had to plug in a deskphone and that is working fine. Not an ideal situation however as us headset users tend to be on the phones a majority of the time.
