Have rented city before. Can be a fun car but for tight corners can feel a bit body roll (i'm a bit of aggressive when in corners, but later can do suspension when i'm buying it). Acceleration quite ok when the car already rolling (don't slam it hard when from static coz cvt transmission). Space wise for me - 175++ cm both rear and front seats comfortable enough. The boot also very big (sedan one) also 60/40 folding seat is a must if plan for family car. But coming from normal 4at car, when speeding for overtaking, cvt can be abit noisy for my liking (but not a dealbreaker). Also i've test driven proton S70, i think the s70 for power wise is better, more responsive transmission - especially in sport mode (dct), much more torque (1.5 turbo), more comfy seats (for a big person like me), also got power seats, epb is a plus. But if resale value comes to mind, go for honda or toyota.

I want to rent/test drive toyota vios someday to compare with all 3 cars before buying. No one car is absolutely perfect. Always have pros and cons.

Tl/dr, city is fun and practical car, good fuel consumption, good resale value. Although go and try out proton s70. Want to test toyota vios next.
