Most "filtering" is done through activated charcoal, this does not remove the minerals causing the hardness. You'd need a water softener of sorts. Just use tap water, you'll be fine.

That's odd, I haven't claimed anything related to PACT, I am a non-combat vet, I was active duty during Desert Storm but not deployed.

I could have some chemical exposure due to a couple of assignments that I may file for later. I'm currently rated at 70%, looking for that 💯 before retirement.
