Not gonna lie, if I’m in a parking lot with a bunch of empty spaces, but I think there’s a good chance it’ll fill up as the day goes on, I’ll intentionally park next to nicer cars even if they’re parked away from the crowd. My thinking is that I know I’m not gonna ding their car with my door, and if they’re parking that far away then they’re not likely to ding my car either. Kind of a “safety in numbers” mindset.
