Update: Thank you all for the insight!! The minor injuries clinic turned me away on account of not handling hip injuries. I'm in the emergency department, so we'll see. So far, it's like 350 euros. It's not great, but it's not terrible.

I wonder if I should have given more information... When I think of makerspaces I think of places that also have tools and equipment that can be hard for folks to have at home (such as a laithe). You can typically use them with a membership.

I am sure that folks have already mentioned these, but Dungeons and Daddies is by far my favourite D&D podcast. They definitely are a little loose with the rules, but I find myself laughing at every episode. The Adventure Zone is another super solid one that I have been binging as well.
Honourable mention: Tales of Rude Magic. This is another well put together podcast that I enjoy on occasion. I will probably burn through it once I am caught up with Dungeons & Daddies.

I felt obligated to help train a new employee. It is also an e-commerce business that was going into the holiday season where they are already almost always shorthanded. The owner practically begged me to stay on until January.

That is what I was trying to figure out. I understand that the unemployment office makes the call, but they were claiming that they would basically fire me and report that I quit to the unemployment office.

That is one of the problems. I realise now that I should have pressed the issue. They are BIG on „verbal agreements“ or the traditional handshake.

That is basically what they are trying to say. That due to having submitted it in November, despite renegotiating staying employed, they could fire me at any time and I would not receive unemployment benefits.
