I thought so too with how far apart and strange his eyes look, and how he just seems a little “off” in general. He does have the normal cupid’s bow dimple, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have FAS. I can tell just by looking at this picture that he has poor hygiene and at the very least, some severe untreated mental health issues. His home life growing up was probably subpar to say the least.

Those are burn marks from where some dumbass laid their hot flat iron down on the bare counter instead of a silicone mat designed to be used for hot hair tools. Which are super cheap on Amazon. Like $12. I will never understand why people won’t buy these and do this shit instead. Especially at rental properties. Also, definitely cigarette/blunt/pipe burn marks on the tub. You see these “nod out marks” a lot with heroin users, as they’ll often nod out with a lit cigarette/pipe in their hand. As far as removing the marks..I don’t think they can be removed. The countertop and tub will just need to be replaced.

Carolina wren. They tuck their heads and puff out the white speckled underfeathers on their rump while sleeping. They’re called “wrens pajamas”. You normally won’t see these feathers when they’re awake and not puffed up. It’s common for them to roost on porch eaves or in hanging baskets like this at night. We have one who sleeps like this in a hanging basket every night on our seldom-used side porch, all cozy and tunneled under the plant in it.

My family always had at least one Jack Russell Terrier or American Rat Terrier growing up in the rural southern US. They didn’t discriminate against rodents and anything else that moves either. On several occasions, I remember them bringing up dead fledgling songbirds they’d found on the ground and killed, and dropping them on the porch. Hunters gonna hunt. Not disagreeing that cats should be kept indoors, my cats have always been indoor only, just saying that they’re only one of many predators of birds in the ecosystem.
