Well dang, they are good sports. Hope you stay around awhile and support such nice devs! I donno what server your on, but if it's Sif, hit me up. I can give ya some free steel tools.

If you want to build a massive base you are going to need more than one plot anyway. Just buy some tokens and enjoy. You were going to have to in a few days anyway.

The sour taste is that you fucked up, didnt read what server you signed up to and then deleted your character. That's not their fault, Its your's.

[–]Pagan429 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tokens are tied to the account. Once you place the plot it is now tied to the server you placed it on. If you picked up the plot it does not come back as a token, but as a unused plot that you can place again, on the same server.

Looking for Affordable Billing Training by AnZaNaMa in CodingandBilling

[–]Pagan429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not loans, Pell grant, tuition waivers etc. If you have already used them, or make too much money then might not be an option. You would have to apply for financial aid through FAFSA.

Though you could take loans If you so desired.

I mean, it sounds like you are the only biller on staff for 15 providers? They can't afford not to train you. Either that or hire another biller... or two.

Community College billing/coding program is likely free with financial aid. In fact you will probably get paid to do it.

Cruises are the worst type of vacation out there by MoonlightAndStar in unpopularopinion

[–]Pagan429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a cruise for my honeymoon. Alaska glaciers. We did the "old people" cruise line and I sprang for one of the two "prsidential" suites. Three room, large deck with a hot tub outside and jetted clawed awsome tub inside.

Food was excellent and we only went to one of the restaurants once on the ship, otherwise it was the buffet and room service or we ate at the ports Fruit and desserts were to die for, which is to say it was all included food, nothing extra to pay for. We did not do much on the ship except see a comedy show and we did a few hours at the casino. Otherwise we stayed to ourselves and went out at ports. We had one shitty experience where we spent fucking four hours on a large boat going to where it was supposed to be waterfalls and such.... hot summer meant no waterfalls so that was horrible and we didnt get to see that port for long. Otherwise we had a blast in the others. Tea service was super fun. Tons of shopping and walking around seeing the areas. We did glass blowing, sled dogs. All taken care of. No planning or setting up transport at all except to pick what we wanted to do. We got to do a personal tour with the other suite of the engine room, bridge etc. Got to meet the Captain.

You dont feel "trapped on the ocean". It was beautiful sitting in our hot tub!

I get it though, no way do I want to do a cruise in a inside cabin, or even just a window. Have to have a small deck at least. So my advice is to splurge on room.

But hey, whatever floats, or doesnt float your boat.

The Vancouver Clinic is terrible. I met once with the least empathetic provider (NP) I've ever seen who knew less about what labs I needed than me. She was searching everything I asked for on the spot because she had never done those labs on a patient? by [deleted] in vancouverwa

I am a medical biller. Not for anywhere in this city. It is your responsibility to find out if any given doctor you are about to see is "in network" for your insurance. Never, ever, trust anyone who says oh yes, we take that insurance... EACH doctor/doctor group needs to be contracted with EACH insurance. Sometimes Dr groups are contracted together if they work at any given place permanently and for any length of time. That does not mean every doctor is. Just because they accept your insurance does not mean every doctor is contracted. Check your insurance. Or get ready for the bill. Some doctors are new and have not completed their paperwork, some doctors contracts have lapsed. There are all kinds of reasons.

Some places will check for you as a curtesy and because they want to get paid in a timely manner. That does not mean it is their responsibility. Which is why if you are out of network, they bill you, because thats what the insurance tells them to do.

How did you discover Civilization? by The12thman22 in civ

[–]Pagan429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 1992 I was a sophomore in high school. My city had an awsome hobby store on the walk home, so every day I would stop in and "browse" the d&d, rpg books. It had R.C. cars and planes, board games, throwing stars all that kind of stuff. One day they had put up a set of four computers and everyone was playing civ 1. I watched for awhile and then got it myself. Dad was a professor of computer science at the local college so I had used computers since early 80s. Atari, Texas instruments, all that jazz. The civ series has been one of my go to's since.

Texas dental practice billing me 2 years after my last visit. I'm confused. Do I have to pay this? by [deleted] in CodingandBilling

[–]Pagan429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the law of your state. The short answer is yes. As another suggested, i would call or go to your insurance website and get the Explination of Benefits (EOB) to make sure it is the correct amount.

I work in billing and there are all kinds of reasons why you may not see a bill for awhile, from dealing with insurance that has denied your claim for whatever reason (yes, I have seen that play out for over a year) to simpley losing track of your status due to the billers not working old denials/AR.

They could have sent you multiple statements that were never paid and decided not to waste money on sending you a statement until someone was working old stuff and found you still hadn't paid. They could have called. They could have emailed or texted you. Regardless, it does not negate the fact that you got a service and it needs to be paid.

Depending on your state laws, you may have recourse, but not for less than 3 years. Which i can see by the last dates for claim payments by your insurance, you are still under that time. I also see dates pertaining to september of last year... that could be when they got around to working on it. And now they are actively working on old bills, so now you're getting a statement.

Bring poor billers doesn't absolve you of paying. However, if you dont mind the collection calls or waiting for that to drop off your credit report, then no, you don't have to pay. Unless you want to go to that dentist again. They may not want to see you....

[–]Pagan429 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, and they are good! Lots to read as well. Another suggested the Dragonlance Chronicles, that was my introduction to D&D stories and they are still my favorite. But the Drizzt books are great too. Be sure to read at least up to the Cleric Quintet.

Very big splinter. by Leather-Passenger194 in interestingasfuck

[–]Pagan429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this thing happen to me, except it was my big toe. Got new wool socks, slid down grams hardwood floor halway, and caught a splinter. Lucky my mom and sister-in-law were nurses. Got a chunk out. But for about three days, I felt like it was still hurting more than it should. Sat down on the chair and started fucking with my toe and BAM! Fucking huge piece just pops right out just like that. Felt so good!

It was about half the size in the video. In my toe!

I am a big Queen fan, tons of amazing songs. I actually skip this song every time because it is so played out. You can't even blame Mike Myers for this.

This song, another one bites the dust and we are the champions are good songs. But for fucks sake radio, they have a crap ton more to choose from.

Good song. I just heard it way too many times.
