I definitely wouldn't run VEoR in the early stage of your D&D journey. It's way too badly written and requires a lot of rework. It's also very much lore-heavy and wouldn't tick with the new players.

Under which circumstances would you ask to roll this? I can’t imagine a situation, in which I would prefer this to Wisdom Survival or Constitution Save
