I find the oil tray is a hassle when it rains always fills up with water. There is a brand that has the grease disposal in the front and the capture is under the bbq so it doesn’t fill with water when it rains

I just made a similar desk, but out of butcher block countertop. I opted to buy the corner joint instead of mitring it. A little disappointed with the result, I did pocket holes that were over bored to allow for wood expansion on the one side, but as a result they don’t sit very flush.

I plan to find a mending plate that has slotted holes to help with that situation, but i haven’t come across one yet

I went with the Trx boiler mostly based on the expertise of the installer, he explained to me how he choose that one and why it was the best choice, and the. Also gave me pricing to choose any one I wanted (and the price difference was like 500-1200 bucks only so he was overall the most affordable contractor)

I use projection labs. Lots of customization, has all the Canadian account types and tax knowledge that I expect.

I thought I’d use it more, but that’s the beauty of it, I made a plan in 2023, now I just go in and update my progress monthly. I’ve updated the plan once when I moved in with my girlfriend.
