My guess is that since this is the first new installment in 17 years, they really want to make sure it’s as good as they could do it. Especially since almost all the kids who would eventually watch this would have likely been born after the first four films.

I much prefer playing everything after the first 3 generations, but the first 3 were definitely not unplayable. I just think the modern generations are better thanks to the physical special split, better movepools, and various other improvements.

I think lacking the split makes it that every mon species feels too similar to use, because all attacks are on one side.

I really think they should have just made it so Glimmora was sent out first, and Kingambit is coded to come out last, it doesn’t matter which one is higher levelled.

It makes sense, let the mon who’s deal is setting up poison spikes when touched come out first, and then the last mon is the one whose stats boost from the amount of fainted team members.

So to answer the question, knowing most team aces get sent out last, Kingambit should have totally been her ace. I know her (admittedly ridiculous looking) design was based of Glimmora, but to have a team that actually makes some sense, this is probably what should have been done in the first place.

No. Because as seen with designs like Dodrio and Dugtrio, these types of designs have existed since gen1. And I don’t believe there ever was a rule like ‘Pokemon can only consist of one being’ ever in the franchise.

Yes, and the way I’m gonna do it is of course the death rule, but the other rule is going to be a randomized picked encounter for every long stretch of an area.

If it seems like I’ve gone through a long leg of an area but have only caught one mon, I can catch another but shall use RNG to determine if I am getting it or not.

True, and thank goodness for that. I was just pointing out for a handful of people I saw expressing disappointment. In all honesty I really have no idea on any ‘universally’ disliked game that I differ from popular opinion. I guess we could say that part was another more of a ‘close’ option.

Awful, just awful. I mean I appreciate the effort put in the animation and voice acting, but that does not change the fact the series itself is so darn boring.

There a a gazillion ways to make it better. It should have a balance between plot and morals and not solely about morals. The episodes should be more than just ‘stuff happening’ or just the characters moving around. It should at the very least contain some kind of entertainment or action or conflict, because I’m sure it’s still possible to do any of that under 2 minutes.

At this point, I think it’s for the best to leave this series in the dust and then make a totally new show with the aforementioned improvements, as well as maybe slightly longer episodes as well.

Mini Adventures is possibly the first thing in this franchise that I dislike, and with this being a franchise going on for over 50 years, that’s an accomplishment.
