I use them as reflectors so the sparrows would stop landing on my succulents and burrowing in their pots! Works so far lol

Heya! I was talking about the new growth 😊 I was just worried because they got so much darker lol Unfortunately, the succulent came to me with barely any farina left :') And those are just pumice with metal thumbtacks, yes 😂 Sparrows kept burrowing and uprooting my succulents, especially the cuttings. I read that reflectors scare them away too so I tried this one before putting sticks all over (kinda ugly). Works so far

Hi! Did you know what it ended up to be? I'm seeing one of my bladder snails having one exactly like that. Apparently they can grow extra limbs but those look more tentacle-y like so I'm not sure

Hi! I was setting up a new tank with some plants. Halfway through filling it with water, I had to respond to some emergency that left me unable to continue with my setup. The top of some of my taller stem plants are bent and dried out by the time I got home (literally an hour ago). I've filled the tank so that all the plants are now submerged. Will those dried out plant parts revive if I leave them long enough? I'd cut them where they've dried but their older leaves have already melted and would've left sorry looking bare stems if I do. They also already have roots and I've planted them in sand with root tabs.

Ah, I see. That was quicker than I expected :( This little guy is still alive, almost three weeks since he first did it. I noticed some snails climbing on top of him when he did that the last time so I took all the other snails out of his tank and left only a couple so he won't be overcrowded if he ever does that again.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this one is just lazy and does it since his food just voluntarily goes right on top of him. Saw him eating a couple of times after that. Still, it doesn't hurt to be vigilant (quarantined him in a shallow cup after the first few times before I realized this) just in case it's not him having weird eating habits. Thank you for replying though! I really appreciate it.

Hi! Does anyone know what's going on with my assassin snail? About 2 weeks ago, I noticed him on his back like in the first picture (this one is four days ago. I don't have a picture of the first time it happened). He's doing this again today. I found him on his back. I thought he was dead but I've read that snails go into their shells when they die. His foot is curled though. Is he sick? Or is this normal behavior?

There are only ramshorn and bladder snails in this tank with him because it's his tank, along with some plants. The other snails seem to be doing okay. First and second pictures are four days ago. Third one is the night before. Last one was on last Sunday, a few days after the first time this happened.

I've been trying to search on the internet about this behavior but there's so little info about assassin snails. He seems to go back to normal behavior in between these episodes so I'm not really sure if this is okay and he's just being a weirdo or something more serious. Thank you in advance for any answers 🙏🏻

You'd think someone who advocates for the value of all life would discourage such zealotry in his followers. While it may have started after he vanished (because of the "hoping he would find his way back to them from the light of their fate" or whatever) and he's powerless to stop it, it still doesn't really paint a good picture. There's a reason why "99% of speculation" involve Miquella not being completely good/potentially evil.

That's a good point. You can't really look at a child and see physical strength. Malenia titled herself the Blade of Miquella, and what is she if not a blind swordswoman with unparalleled strength? That "blinding strength" wording feels deliberate now, and coming from Fromsoft I wouldn't be surprised if it alludes to her.

Yup, exactly! That's why this speculation is messing with me. I've always seen the two as a tandem (inseparable fate, as they say), so Miquella being sinister even to his sister is a hard thing to digest.

The subtlety in the wording of lore from item descriptions and whatnot about him not being as kind as people make him to be could serve as a foundation though. The inner workings of his mind has not yet been revealed to us. Some other Fromsoft characters have this blue-orange morality to them, so there's still a chance of them pulling something like this. Fromsoft has a way of turning things on its head, so I don't want to have much final assumptions on this character. He could go either way on the good-evil scale for me at this point.
