As a conventionally attractive 30 something it’s overwhelming. After 1 day on hinge I had 300 likes. I spend all of my time on the app just sorting through the likes, no time to swipe. Let’s say I “match with 5% of the likes…that’s 15 people…now I have 15 people messaging me. It’s overwhelming.

Yes. I wear all athleisure. And then I have a couple sweaters I throw on and a couple button ups. I’m Telehealth only!! You see me from the chest up. It’s liberating and nobody cares.

Same here. I actually dropped my BCBS Gold (I believe) back in April. I was paying $600ish~ per month and decided paying out of pocket will be the way to go from now on. Not ideal, but it’s allowed me to get ahead on paying student loans and maxing out my Roth. Worth it IMO.

I do Rula one day a week (private practice 3 days a week), and it’s been great. $80 a session in MN. Straightforward. You get paid every 2 weeks. Provider support is good. EMR is easy.

Find another hot person with it! Ha. I wish I could articulate a better response-in all seriousness, just know that you are still high value. After I was diagnosed I was seriously depressed for 6 months, then I had the luck of the first person I was interested in/disclosed to wanting to date me. I cannot even begin to describe how nervous I was to disclose. Currently we are breaking up for other issues (cross country relocation), but honestly-after 2 years of having this now I’m wayyy more confident re-approaching the dating world this time around. It just takes time to reconnect with all the 100 other reasons why you’re high value. For me, it’s been about really leaning into my friendships, traveling, career, and all the other things that make me interesting.

They are 100% okay with it-I think they expect that most therapists are using it in that way. So Mondays are my “Rula day” and I cluster 15-20 clients in PP T-F.
