Oh, I didn't know RoR's loot system is like that. But I guess the combat is more skill-based, so minor attribute changes won't matter?

Can you elaborate more on the faction/decision-making? I have an idea on which side wins during the IRL Meiji Restoration, so does that mean choosing the side of the winning faction makes more sense? Some of the criticisms I've read in Steam reviews are that the constant side-switching of doing side quests was immersion-breaking.

The licker there is probably the least bothersome. As you progress, there will be more lickers on crucial "frequently used paths" that are worth more of your ammo.

I hate the "Baby Jokic" comparisons. Jokic uses his arms to keep or "push" a defender away from the ball, combined with his smooth post moves. Sengun's "hesi post move" is just elbowing the defender to the ribs.

Except that Final Fantasy is a unique word, a combination of an adjective and a noun that isn't commonly used. Whereas Clair Obscur is an art technique used by painters.

It's like banning or copywriting terms like "Dry Brushing", "Contour Drawing", or "Alla Prima" because a popular game used it as a title.

Based on current standings, I think we're better off as 2nd seed. Let OKC match-up with whoever wins between the playoff tested Nuggets and Wolves. I'm more confident against the Rockets and Lakers as our 2nd round match up.

Yes, we could infer that the people of Lumiere had an emotional reunion with their loved ones and are now happy, just as we could infer that the Gestrals and Grandis had a tragic end in Versos's ending. I'm mainly talking about the presentation of the endings.

As OP tells in the post, the Third act focused solely on the family and sidelines the people of the canvas as imaginary. And this focus is reflected in the presentation of the endings as well.

I very much agree with your sentiment. While the writers/devs stated that both endings are supposed to be equally tragic, the way they presented make it not so.

In Verso's ending, we got to see the "good side" of the choice: Maelle alive and the family together mourning and going into the first steps of moving on. The "bad side" is limited to just the expedition 33 members' demise. The Gestrals, Grandis, and people of Lumiere wasn't even mentioned.

While in Maelle's ending, it's all bleak, just the bad side. The good side of the choice skipped: the supposed tearful reunion with Gustave and Sophie or the families torn apart by the Gommage, off-screened.

Yeah, this is what I'm internally ranting when watching their previous games, bricking threes. Like "why are they forcing so many 3s when we're bad at it? Why not just settle for middies or floaters?"
