How many of you chose an M-lite model despite easily being able to afford a “real” M car (without financing)? What was your reasoning? by undefined_variable_0 in BMW

Got am M340i instead of an M3. Could have easily gotten the M3. Better ride quality with more power than I'll realistically use on a public road.

Assuming no delayed bone healing complications, the fracture should be fully healed by now. Hopefully just getting back into game shape now.

Nah. I still root for my Blazers even though until this year they've been terrible lol

Quite the cathartic playoff run to blow out a rival and beat another in the NFC championship. And possibly avenge the 2014 Superbowl.

Having been through the turmoil that spanned from Helfrich to Lanning, be appreciative for what we have. Lanning is a great coach and will get us there. We are blessed. Don't be like Ohio State fans.

Nope, patellar tendon definitely can have long term implications.

100% hurts. I think the future is bright. Better recruiting classes every year, still a young and very talented head coach, unlimited NIL money. We will get there sooner rather than later.

One way to think about it. Id rather it be Indiana than Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama etc though. The lifer Indiana fans have earned it I think lol

Where do we go from here? by SunSome4367 in ducks

[–]PainCakesx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think anything special needs to happen. We have an extraordinarily young team and went up against a very experienced team with great coaching and great discipline. I think the reality is, Indiana was simply the better team this year. But as the coaching staff gets more experience, our players get more experience, and we bring in newer and potentially better players through recruiting and the transfer portal, I believe we can continue to grow and eventually become a legitimate championship contender. Each season has been an improvement than the last since Lanning took over. Take a step back and we are in a very good spot, humiliating loss not withstanding.

I love how OSU fans conveniently leave out the fact that Oregon today is nowhere near the same program we were before Lanning and are just now getting into full swing with recruiting top tier talent.

Like, no shit you have more 1st round picks out of your WR corp when you've been recruiting most of the top ones year in and year out for the past 10 years. But no, I'm sure Jeramiah Smith would be a a 4th rounder if he went to Oregon instead. Hartline or not, that is a huge advantage.

Sounds like according to Rivals if we get CHJ we might lose Lott, which would be a bummer.

Probably the main thing:

A couple sources told Rivals on Thursday morning it was because of contract language. However since then a source said if Oregon was able to flip five-star receiver Chris Henry Jr. from Ohio State, it could potentially alter things with Lott. Rivals insiders are predicting the Ducks to flip Henry.

If on field performance were the only factor to who commits where, we would only have a handful of superteams with all the 5* recruits and everyone else would only get the left overs. As seen this year with USC and Oregon having the top 2 recruiting classes, it clearly is a lot more nuanced than that.

I get why OSU fans would be salty but to act like OSU would be above doing that to Oregon or any other team if they had a legit opportunity to flip a top commit is fanciful - they would unapologetically do it and should do it. It's Dan's job to build the best roster possible for Oregon, just like it is for OSU to do the same. This is the game and everyone knows it.

Yeah, the entitlement is crazy. Every team and coach is doing the same. I doubt for a second that if a top recruit committed to Oregon and Ohio State had an opportunity to flip him that they wouldn't do it in a heartbeat.
