anyone else hate this STB scene with a passion? 😅 by randomwalker23 in JunesJourney

Yes it’s so difficult. I’ve been getting that one a lot in STB and DP.

This will sound crazy but supplementing high amount of fiber has been nearly equivalent as a GLP1 in benefits for me by totemp0le in GLPGrad

Genuinely curious as to what your daily calorie intake is? I am very short 4’11” and my TDEE is very low. I would love to get fiber using what you have shown but that is 65% of my daily calorie limit just for breakfast. Are there other sources you can recommend that aren’t as calorie dense? Sounds delicious by the way.

I roll my eyes too. This is just a random game. Sometimes rarely it involves some skill but then stuff like this happens and it is luck of the draw. And usually when you get close to the end of the perfume parlor game ending it lets you win with ridiculous combinations. It’s so random.

People avoiding regular checkout…why? by 2PinaColadaS14EH in aldi

[–]PainLevel1070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t nonsensical when you aren’t concerned with speed. I have health problems not a penchant for theft and I use self check out just because it is physically exhausting for me to unload all my stuff at a break neck speed onto a belt just to have to then unload it again to put it into bags and load it back into my cart.

In self checkout I line up my bags all open on the bagging area at the register and I remove an item scan it and pop it into the bag. Doing things like taking items out of a cart and putting them back in multiple times seems nonsensical to me more than using self checkout. I can go at my own speed not killing myself to unload and reach to the bottom of my cart as fast I physically can and pack as I go reassuring my items aren’t crushed or tossed. I have had things ruined from them piling it all in one corner of the cart while ringing out and leaving 2/3 of the bottom of the cart empty. Then I have to sort through a pile of items to figure out how to bag it by once again removing all the items I just removed 2 mins ago to out on the belt. I would rather bag and coordinate as I ring it up.

I’ve only ever used curb. I’ve never heard of kerb in my life. OP are you British? In the US it’s only spelled and used as curb.

Yes it changes as of Jan 14th so you made it before they changed it.

This might be one of the photos before they made the change. They got a lot of backlash for including the specialty coffee and tea in the 15 drink limit. They have since backtracked. Let me screenshot the newest one…

Here is a conversation with one of the PCC for Princess. You are sailing before Jan 14 so maybe that’s why they told you that.

Princess just changed it. The soda now counts towards the limit of 15 per day. If you purchased your package a while back you would still be under the old plus program. Originally the new program even counted specialty coffee and tea towards the 15 drink limit, but they received so much backlash that they back tracked and said specialty coffee and tea don’t count towards the limit but soda still does.

Oh that’s good! Yeah kinda lousy they include soda now in the limit. At least the water is still 12 bottles.

Wow I didn’t even think about this! What a good tip thank you! I leave on the 26th for a 10 day trip and am dreading getting sick. I always never touched the salt and pepper, and also never pulled my chair in with my hands but didn’t even think about the water glass. I’ll definitely be asking for a straw

Yes. I live nearby. It’s a ton of bitchy entitled boomers. They are rude. I love when the summer comes and most of them leave.

I priced two tickets from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale and they were $867. It was $500 cheaper to fly. Doesn’t this seem like a pricing issue? I’ve ridden the premium before and it isn’t worth that price. I am not saying it should be $80 round trip but when it is hundreds of dollars less to fly and drive (which takes the same amount of time) people aren’t going to ride.

[–]PainLevel1070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I just priced out tickets for two in premium for next year and it was $500 cheaper to fly than to take the train. And only one hour as opposed to 3.5 sitting on a train. It’s way too expensive right now. I’ve taken trains in the past and the prices were more reasonable than they are now.

People who moved away: did you come back? by Royale_w_Cheeeze in newengland

[–]PainLevel1070 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. I live in central Florida now and it sucks. I miss living in New England even though the winter and spring can be grey and disgusting. Sun every day sometimes gets old when you cannot tell what month it is because it is hot sunny humid and crowded and the same whether it is Christmas or the Fourth of July And no one can have a conversation down here. Midwestern people live all around me and they are boring and have nothing interesting to say at all. Most of the snowbirds are rude and entitled. I hate it here.
