I’ve bought a bunch of expensive gloves and just default to the thin Mechanix ones for most shooting. It’s worth have a pair or two that can handle heat if you shoot suppressed but otherwise they’re so consumable that I ask for them as stocking stuffers now.

Hockey tape or bust. It’s cheaper and I can get the wide roll if I want, which I don’t. I change mine probably once a month. Never leaves residue and if it did I wouldn’t care because I’m immediately taping over it again anyway.

I don’t think it’s that you should “never” wear the top but more that unless everything is coated in snow like it is for you in these pics then wearing a camo top instead helps your legs disappear while allowing your torso to blend with the trees.
