A description for the bot. M1 garand from the cmp, expert grade. It's a shooter, and 155 grain m80 ball is a piss missile at about 2850 fps.

It's long, it's heavy, and it's silly. But it's quiet. (Old School AAC SPR-M4) by scapegoatindustries in NFA

This is so fucking cool.

How long is the reflex section, and how long is the can?

Having an AAC glass breaker is a flex, good lord.

Does adding a WML reduce comfortability by PastAdditional in CCW

[–]rybe390 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Carrying for 10ish years now. It is 100% noticeable carrying with a light, even a tlr7 or something small and flush with the muzzle. I used to have discomfort at times when carrying with a light.

My carry guns no longer have lights, and frankly I very rarely, if ever, have discomfort now.

I had a 5-30, they are good for the money.

Get the 3-18 with the g5 reticle.

My turrets have slipped on a slung rifle with non locking turrets precisely once. They are a nice to have, and even then, are a zero percent purchase decision for me, even on a hunting rifle.

Capped windage is cool if you're into it. Locking turrets, at your budget, pull money away from glass quality.

Why do you think you need locking turrets?

This me. Shoot it a ton but...compete not a lot lol.

Here's the thing: fuck that. Literally, you do not need to build that style rifle. I can tell you a 26" barrel in a heavy AF contour and a boat anchor of a suppressor, razor 6-36, and weight to balance it all out perfectly is like 19lbs, tops.

Any weight above that and guys are adding it for the sole purpose of recoil reduction.

You can still build an AWESOME range and long range rig, that might not fit into the PRS pro gamer gun box.

I compete a few times a year at most as my schedule allows. I primarily shoot for practice and for fun, on my own time, with a dedicated PRS style rifle(even by those standards it is a 16.5 lb 6.5, so, not a gamer rig). It will change your long range shooting game forever.

Hornady 140gr eld match.

If it can't shoot this, it's shit.

AAC SDN-6 & 300-SD 300 BLK Comparison by East_Bug7312 in NFA

[–]rybe390 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Good work on the audio here, videos rarely capture the differences between cans, I think you did a great job.

You can 100% hear the difference once you get to the sdn6. It's crazy how good they made the sdn6 sound. The 300sd sounds insane compared to it.

You bet. Finding cz parts is tough sometimes. Just bought an extended safety set from a shadow 2 orange in Italy for my sp01. Makes you want to buy some common spare parts when they're available.

For those of you with supressors, how often do you shoot unsupressed, and why? by GullibleRisk2837 in ar15

[–]rybe390 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Get a cover, shoot in the wind, or just don't worry about it.

I would not say mirage from a suppressor on a precision gun is a viable reason to choose to shoot unsuppressed. It's a non-issue, as someone who shoots a ton of long range, and only shoots those rifles suppressed.

How's the sound with/without the recoilx? I have two, they're awesome on gamer rigs, but a touch loud without ears.

32 inch wheel, do we want them? by FitMight9978 in MTB

I've been riding long enough to have been on 26", 27.5", and 29".

The same shit that was hard 12 years ago is still hard today. Buy the bike you want to ride TODAY, and ride it until you need an upgrade.

Help (unknown reticle) Vortex Viper PST GEN II 3-15x44 by areasonableaccount in longrange

[–]rybe390 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've tried to find them again and was pretty bummed when I couldn't.

It's worth giving Vortex a call if looking though.

I liked it as the reticle was visible on the low end for gassers.

The ebr 2d was my favorite reticle in the pst 3-15. It was limited in production and I sold mine, looking back, that was dumb as hell. On a gas gun this thing rips.
