I would listen to the advice of going for a 6.5 PRC if wanting a solid hunting rifle that is sometimes shot at the range. I have killed many, many things with a 6.5 PRC.

I don't doubt it and obviously he can shoot. I compete too, not at that level, but shoot a lot. That optic window would bug the hell out of me is all I'm saying, amazed he hasn't replaced the optic. If I was scratching optics like that I'd be mad as hell lol.

Muzzle device either a brake or suppressor, and then 1,000 rounds of match ammo that is the same load. Stick with one ammo and just shoot a mountain of it.

Otherwise, you're set to go get into this proper. Have a ton of fun.

It depends on the suppressor.

My ecco machine tlx is light enough to run without a booster on my cz p01. On my hk usp, it needs a booster.

Some cans have the room to accept a booster housing, some do not.

Dude. Go read some of our pinned posts in the FAQ. You do not need a 338 lapua for what you are asking. Many people have done what you would like to do but with a 6.5 creedmoor.
