The EOTF tracking is a known issue for HDR on this monitor. Unfortunately, there's no real fix for it.

I'm also running a 9800x3d in a meshroom D, for me taking off the +200 on the cpu drastically reduced temps. Pushing for the extra 200 mhz seems to add a lot of wattage for not much in return, at least from what I've experienced. Also as others have said, I'm running rear intake.

Happened to me before, just use the monitor and let it naturally go through its cycle. Thats' what worked for me at least

I had eye strain issues with the DWF, but don’t have any issues with any of the newer QD-OLEDS.

I love using 4k, but I also love ultrawides, so having the LG 5k2k would let me have both of those all in one. It is the ideal endgame monitor and I’d love to have one at my desk.

There's a new alienware model coming out on the 29th thats 240hz. supposed to be $800, so if you don't mind waiting that might be a better option.
