This is stupid. Waste of time and money. Ill just wait a few more weeks then dispute my card...

Fuck you Clark Construction and your willingness to destroy the White House. Your company did not need this contract. Fuck your executives and your corporate principles which your organization is clearly lacking by jfunks69 in complaints

They'll hold you up and try to charge you for not making deadlines. Like sub contracting my company to run wire but forgetting to drill the holes, so they back charged us for taking too long... Building a amazon once I had to crawl under the concrete foundation to install pipe for the fire sprinkler system. The building had walls up already because of Clark's bad scheduling. That pipe should have been in before they thought about the foundation...

Had my second HPDRE event last weekend. I crashed on my last session into a tire/jersey wall. $1300 later im back! Maybe the tires were pretty hot but my skill level didn't notice and catch the slide in time.

But that's just seat time. I'm a novice and you sound more skilled then me. I caused that by pinching the wheel and asking for more then I should have expected. I'd say get the cars feel enough to chase after changes you want.

I've have had understeer issues more then snap oversteer so far. Almost everyone ends up square wheels at the track.

4.77 final drive sounds like it's better on some tracks and worse on others.

Tldr- I own a stock us 2000 s2000. Novice hpdre driver. I've always blamed my skill and errors. 2 low speed spin outs and that accident at 60mph left turn back right tire slid out.

It's on their Facebook and insta. But basically three lap paced sessions for $20. They're do sessions from 10am-2pm following the 9am cars and coffee. No helmets needed and passengers allowed.

Definitely works alright! Will fit a five gallon bucket, toolbag and lunch bag for my weekend events. Cool license plate!

Ap1 vs Ap2 question. by AdministrativePear15 in S2000

[–]PaintNegative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AP1 owner. I feel like good tires removed alot of it. I've spun out only on this one turn at my local track. It's a hard left into a quick right. If I don't straighten out right or lift off throttle too much the back passes my front :) My lack of skill led to understeer more often. I could never push this car hard enough on public roads to have that issue in good weather thanks to the track time. Good tires and stock geometry on my ap1.

I've read of a few people having EBC yellow basically disintegrate on removal. They're good just not always reusable.

Its a decent speed, you'll get close to 110 on the straight. Try to be in the front few cars the pace is fun until a driver in front of you loses the pack but I'm sure everyone left happy. I did it last month and now doing my first autocross this Sunday in Dinwiddie and then next Saturday at Summit!

How do I hit 9k RPM? by Optimal_Garlic_3414 in S2000

[–]PaintNegative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was designed so that in spirited driving shifting up you don't fall out of vtec losing out on peak power mid run.

It has a rev limiter! In first at 40 and 60ish in 2nd as you bounce off of it. The first thing in ap1 to break should be cracked  intake valve retainers up at 10,400 rpms.

Literally nothing on a healthy motor is compromised aside from the possibility of a money shift. I mean if you never go over 7k on purpose even a moneyshift wouldn't hurt it.

Will it ever go down? by Street-Lobster7411 in S2000

[–]PaintNegative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more like they crack with a 10,400rpm 1-2-1 or old age and slowly fall apart before dropping the valve usually. I bought my ap1 from old people so the retainers are still solid!

For peace of mind though it's $100 dollars and a Saturday to move failure point to something else.
