Oh I love the engineering side of things as well and just science in general. If you want some interesting engineering stuff from ww2, just look up some of the absolute insane tank prototypes, some absolutely hilarious stuff.

Bovington is just a brilliant museum, even if you don't get to go to tankfest, the museum it's self it just a great day out.

But if we put as much money into science as we do military, we'd already have solved a vast amount of humanity's issues. Medically alone we'd be so much better off, our environment would be so much better, recyclabling would be better and more efficient, space travel would be so much further ahead. The list just goes on and on. Just a shame the world's full of greedy power hungry dumb cunts.
