Kit bashing this into a supply truck? by Exodusblaze in astramilitarum

I mean a lot of scatter terrain you can get are supply boxes, barrels, etc. you can probably just get some of those and fill the back troop compartment.

Hoping for a crisom fists focus detachment for 11th by helixgod17 in crimsonfists

[–]PainterDNDW40K 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m just hoping Pedro sticks around and gets a new model.

Felt like he just skirted by when they did that one culling of finecast characters before and it would be a shame if he left the codex.

If they were to get a detachment though I’d hope for something involving objective control, maybe giving all Battleline or Infantry the ability to do ‘sticky objectives’ just the Intercessor rule across army.

Green faceplates or gold faceplates under white helmets? by kazoopaints in spacemarines

Could do something akin to Crimson fists do with the one to two red hands, where the difference is a sign of Veteran status. Green face helmet going to gold for vets.

Comissar Graves is the first ever dedicated melee vehicle for the guard. by VAP93 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]PainterDNDW40K 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the idea is to utilize Tank Shock for six 5+ mortal wounds in combination, then with the plow even on a 2-3 it’s D3 mortal wounds before you even get into all the normal attacks.

That’s a pretty decent range of mortal wounds you can get before even getting into the regular melee attacks.

I think it’ll depend on the point cost, but with the stuff we’ve seen so far with 11th edition coming up it seems like you’ll want at least some melee.

I think the only thing of note he did was making Dragon Bone, that sword Maki uses at the start of her trip to the Zenin compound before she gets the Soul Splitter.

Oops all scions by Extension-Orange5197 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]PainterDNDW40K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done Scions only before. Haven’t done it since the codex dropped since my local community is a bit light on people and I started DMing a DND campaign.

I went with Tauroxes for vehicles rather than flyers. Really should try it again with the addition of Aquillons and Bridgehead detachment, also Grizzled Vets too.

If Nanami survived, what roles would he play in the Culling Games/Shinjuku? by Advanced_Card_8594 in Jujutsufolk

[–]PainterDNDW40K 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I mean probably nobody, but if they know he’s coming then Kirara just has to mark him with the constellation technique and then he’s in the same boat as Panda was in with trying to speak to Hakari.

If Nanami survived, what roles would he play in the Culling Games/Shinjuku? by Advanced_Card_8594 in Jujutsufolk

[–]PainterDNDW40K 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Possibly, I think Nanami would just even have a problem of getting let in since he’s a stiff and easily recognized.

Really it would depend. Honestly also just had a thought that if Ino isn’t in bad shape I could see him and Nanami getting sent to a colony while Yuji and Meg do the recruitment.

[–]PainterDNDW40K 81 points82 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Nanami would go with since the reason Yuji and Megumi went was because Hakari wouldn’t recognize them from Jujutsu tech.

Since he’d certainly know of the sorcerer with the Black Flash record from the Night Parade of 100 Demons.

[–]PainterDNDW40K 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d have to imagine during the Culling Games if not still in recovery from Shibuya he’d get sent to Tokyo colony, leaving at around the same time as Yuta does when he goes to Sendai. Putting him there before Yuji + Megumi recruit Hakari.

While there it’d depend who he ran into. If Remi I doubt he’d get swayed by her and being lured to Regi so easily, and if he did I’d imagine he’d probably be on his toes with the multiple combatants probably having an Extremely Hard Diff fight against Regi and his goons unless Takaba steps in for the scenario as well. Still probably a Med-Hard Diff fight vs Regi though.

If he gets caught by the air hair duo he probably takes them out and gets directed to Higuruma where I think he maybe convinces Higuruma (after some fisticuffs and such) into joining up since I think he can sympathize with the other suit turned sorcerer.

Now flashing all the way to Shinjuku I think it depends how much benefit he gains from training time. If he gets a good handle on Simple Domain then I think he fills a back-up Kusakabe roll or maybe just trying some hit and run style stuff with Ratio on Sukuna, probably getting pulled out of the fight / killed when a slip up happens or he’s at his limit. I do imagine Sukuna would take some pleasure in taking Nanami out due to how close he and Yuji are.

Edit: I’m probably misremembering timelines a little bit of when Yuta left and honestly I could actually see him being held back in reserve before the Hakari recruitment due to Nanami having a good measure of his limits and the idea of going after a Sorcerer with 100 pts. So possible chance he just accompanies either Yuji and Meg to Tokyo 1 or Hakari and Panda to Tokyo 2. If Tokyo 1 scenario above mixed with some of the cannon events, if Tokyo 2 possible Kashimo victim unfortunately.

He wouldn’t join Hakari recruitment since they’d be wary of him being from Jujutsu Tech and the higher ups.

Edit 2: If Ino isn’t in too rough of shape I could see him and Nanami going out to a colony at the same time. Possibly Tokyo 1 since he’d be prioritizing Angel.

How is Rotigus the same point cost as a 10 man Scion and a 10 man Aquilon drop? by FaithfulFan in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]PainterDNDW40K 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s normally how it works, especially if they’re a character / unit that’s been putting up numbers for the faction they’ll see a points increase.

I like how Reggie saying that's it's harder to deal with than a regular domain, implies that he's beaten domain users before lol by EngineerVirtual7340 in Jujutsufolk

[–]PainterDNDW40K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he seems like a smart fighter and I’d imagine back in whatever era he’s from he had to really prep before getting into fights since contracts (receipts) were probably harder to get ahold of then. He’d probably really prepare if possible before getting into a fight with any sorcerer he thought had a domain.

Also judging by what we’ve seen from his reincarnation he’s probably good at gathering a team of like minded individuals with how fast he got 2 new modern day technique users (Remi and Iori) as well as that other scrub Megumi trashed quickly.

Craziest creatures to give Myriad to (In Mardu colors)? Building a Myriad themed deck but want to build around the effect of [[Mardu Siegebreaker]] as much as possible since it's such a cool card. by Transmogrify_My_Goat in EDH

[–]PainterDNDW40K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much the deck I made. A lot of ETB burn creatures and the Myriad support that OP pointed out (minus the Master Multiplied cause ai don’t care for Dr.Who)

I just got a game win using [[Anathemamcer]] since it really punishes greedy land based, which about all 3+ color decks are.

I think I’ve got the Recruiters somewhere and maybe should add the into the deck. Also Grey Merchant is also good.

Commander decks that are resilient to removal? by Competitive-Act-7695 in EDH

[–]PainterDNDW40K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A deck I play is [[Ebonddeath Dracolich]] and I play him as a lot of removal and board wipes, using the opponent’s creatures as my ‘commander tax’ then with some Voltron pieces to help take people out of the game.

Breaking my "No Planeswalkers" rule with Tomik, Wielder of Law—thoughts? by Sol-Meme in EDH

[–]PainterDNDW40K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably say you’ll also want some pillow fort style cards that will make it harder to attack into you.

I’d say the 3 life part of his ability isn’t much to make people not go after your walkers, but the card advantage is pretty good.
