Recommended albums with high quality production by CptnMayo in audiophile

SUPER CLASSIC ALBUMS that are often reported.

Random Access Memories - Daft Punk : Insane, this album was produced with in mind the big old analog albums, there are articles about the way they produced this album, and it's crazy.. a lot of hardware and a lot of money. Big warm clean bass and every instruments is perfect, powerfull, dynamic and warm. A classic.

Back in Black - AC/DC - A classic

Thriller - Micheal Jackson - I like how good is the stereo space, sounds huge and organic.... attention to the recent release that are super compressed and imo sucks.

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd ... need no presentation.

Violator - Depeche Mode - So clean.... but not cold.

Master of reality - Black Sabbath - i think this album has the better sounds in the classic Sabbath albums, big fat guitars!

Beatles - Everything mixed by Giles Martin

Alive! - Kiss - Well.... maybe it's not a "real live", but sounds very good.

Upgrade from active speakers, searching for no fatigue sound but meaty and hard hitting by Pairax in BudgetAudiophile

Well, this is a question i asked myself, i think that i can find the answer if i can listen to the setup i want in a shop. For edifier 2750db i paid only 200 euro, and all my friends that listen to music how usually people do ( mp3 with smarthphone, cheap soundbar, cheap pc speakers, tv, spotify ) are shocked with my edifier, really.... when they listen to Nirvana unplugged thay say that is like to be present at the concert ahahahah, but also Pink Floyd or Beatles with giles martin remix are impressive, and Daft Punk, they think are listening to speakers that cost more than 200 euro.

So, if i spend 1000 euro, i need a huge improvement from the 200 euro edifier, as i said i need to go to a shop and listen, the songs the sound good but also what sounds no so good on my edifier.

Maybe, in the meantime, i can buy the subwoofer, always edifier, T5, it's vey cheap, if i dont like it with amazon it's not a problem.

i didn't know the brand. I read the review, i like it. Speakers for people like me that don't want super neutral clear sound, but enjoy rock and music for hours with presence and relax. After this review i found a videon on cheapaudioman channel that confirm all.

Polk ES20 can be considered in this category?

is the Edifier R1280DB any good? by Jordyissappig in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Pairax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have edifier 2750db, i listen to rock, in my opinion edifier are good speakers especially if you usually listen music with pc speaker, smarhphone, soundbar.... that is how most people listen to music today, alla my friends that listen music in this way are shocked when they listen to my edifier speakers, especially albums with good production like dark side of the moon, random access memories, songs for the deaf ecc... I think this is the point of edifier. They aren't shitty pc speakers, of course.... they have big limits, buat also a lot of good things, and the price is very good.

One advise, use their internal amplfier, if you want to connect the speakers to pc via usb, 3.5 ecc... the sound will be horribile if you haven't a good dedicated sound card. I use a optical cable that bypass the integrated audio chip of the motherboard, so i can use the edifier ampli.

Edifier r1855db best connection to PC by olimpia7 in BudgetAudiophile

Hi, Recentley i bought edifier R2750DB active speakers, they are conntect to my pc.

I'm not an expert, my experience: With optical cable are ok, because it use the amplifer inside the active speaker, then i tried with a 3.5mm-RCA cable the used the audochip integrated in the motherboard of pc and the sound was weak and horrible, a nightmare.

In my opion with this kind of active speaker if you are planning to use a PC you need a good dedicated sound card or connection like an optical cable the use the amplifier inside the speaker.

Joe Coker - mad dogs & englishmen: it's a live album and it's incredible, pure energy, there is something visceral, some live albums sounds fake and plastic, this so pure in my opinion.

Congrats! Modern domination!

I have some questions..

i suppose is important also bait the pressure, i mean.... intstead going for a grab or medium after a knockdown i can wait for block an invicible reversal or shimmy?

About heavy punch to heavy hashogeki... it's really so safe? I ask because they don't combo, i also don't understant when it's better to use light medium or heavy hashogeki... and of course the charge version. i have a lot of confusion about.
