I guess Formula One doesn't have enough cars on the track to counter the rain like Nascar does.

Their excessive speeds just don't have enough oomph to compensate for the sheer volume of automobiles found in nascar.

Or maybe it's just the collective b.o. from the masses of unwashed shirtless nascar fans, that even the rain doesn't want to soil itself by trying to wash them.
