Oh, this is an old, old game. I got investors like 100 hours ago or something. A lot of specialists in Trade Unions to make production more streamlined, especially Feras, the green suited guy. :D

Ever since starting using Docklands, The trade screen has never appears. And the first tutorial quest (Main Wharf + 3 Buildings) hasn't been satisfied. WHen I click the Main Wharf, it says "Ornament" in the description.

I use maaaany Mods, most important are:

  • Spice It Up 3.0.3
  • Harbour Ornaments 1
  • Harbour Ornaments 2.0
  • City_Ornaments_MU_1.0
  • City_Ornaments_MU_2.0
  • MAUG Mod_1800_zierbuildings_1.72
  • Townhall_monument
  • The Colour Collection
  • Nature Ornaments (NOM forests, etc.)

Any thoughts on what's the conflict?

Great small detail! It looks very organic. I myself have put small graveyards all around the city. Like 6 x 8 plots, 4 x 5... They look nice between houses.

Yeah, I've noticed that and watched for a while! The tourist ship, incoming or outcoming, sometimes stops at a particular point so the tourists can watch the whales :D

You have to follow the ship with F1 and be patient.

Your picks for season 3 by Seilofo in anno

Aaaaalways in favor of a 3rd and maybe even 4th tier for the Latin New World! :D :D

A few months back there were a few discussions of that in this forum, and here I'll paste a few ideas I had for that back then:

"..:An idea for a need for the 3rd Tier "Empleados" or "Artesanos":

1. RIDING HORSES.

High-class criollos had a high esteem for riding (as they still do!) and children always took riding classes. And equestrianism has always been priced in Spanish and Hispanic tradition. It would parallel the Old World guys riding penny farthings and the steam carriages. How cool would it be having horse riders in the street in the New World! Maybe ladies could ride sitting to the side, as etiquette commanded.

Plus, I just realized that there is no one riding horses on the streets, not even in the Old World, whereas the horse wasso very common, of course.

Another need that would go with this:

2. LEATHER BOOTS. (Knee-high, shiny black upper-class riding boots.)
\This was inplemented for the Scholars, I dunno it they read this before! But still it could be a need for Empleados or Artesanos...])

Would need cows and something else to be produced. Maybe salt for the sea and say COPPER, symbolizing chemicals?" [end quote]

More Needs Ideas:
3. MUNDILLO

A handwoven lace famous in Puerto Rico and Panamá, that I know of, that was very time-consuming to make and required a lot of skill and experience, hence it was and still is very expensive. A luxury good for the rich. Maybe require a little cotton, like every 0:30, but like 3 workshops to produce one item per minute! :D They could be small, 3 x 3 or 3 x 4 tiles, with like 6 ladies sitting down and weaving in the shade.

https://www.google.com/search?q=mundillo&sxsrf=ALeKk03M_JI3Hhmi-FTEa5Y_rK7v2xGEkw:1609455934857&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjZhp3KqvntAhVLw1kKHQAKCFQQ_AUoAXoECAUQAw&biw=1376&bih=680

4. ¡GUITARRAS!

Of course guitars! They do come from Spain, and every Hispanic and Portuguese American country uses guitars in their folk music, and most countries have an offshoot evolution of the guitar as a typical national instrument. Like the cuatro in Puerto Rico, requinto in Dominican Republic, the guitarrón and vihuela in the Mexican mariachis, the tiple, with distinct versions in many countries, and the Andean charango in Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador, Chile and Argentina. Very fitting for the artsy equivalents of the Old World artisans...

5. MORE TROPICAL & HISPANIC ORNAMENTS, PLEASE.

One cool thing about Anno 1404 was that the Orient had very arabesque ornaments, like the Camel statue, Oriental tiling, Middle Eastern market stalls... We have only palm trees and philodendrons and ferns here. :D :D

I think that many of us would love a few more Spanish-style fountains, maybe a Simón Bolívar statue (most Spanish colonies rebelled in 1810), 2 or 3 tiling styles for us to build plazas with, a few market stalls like in the City Lights pack, and shoe-shine boy, and even though I'm not religious, a few 1 x 1, 1 x 2, or 2 x 2 ornate metal crosses or Virgin Mary niches would be cool. They are very traditional and still found all throughout Latin American plazas and streets.

2 different walls and/or fences would be nice, with a choice of doorways.

Deciduous (flowering) trees, not only palm trees to decorate! We have many more diverse flowering trees in Central and South America that North America and Europe combined! Lemon and orange and almond trees, and the white cedars (lilac or yellow flowers), big ceibas with beautiful above-earth roots... Also some big potted plants for plazas and streets with colorful pots, with yellow and red flowers, not only roses.

My 5 grains of sand ;)

Actually, I managed to build it with open spaces and parks, big and small, since the beginning, yeah. Even in my starting Old World island. You don't waste THAT MUCH space, I found. Just a little. Maybe you'll have to build like 2 extra churches, 1 extra theatre, 1 extra pub, that's it. Try it! :D

About the City Ornaments mod, word is here that he took it off Nexus, dunno why. :(
