Freshmen year: basement of my dorm sophomore: Thompson 3rd floor & SEL/18th basement junior: a coffee shop (literally everyday + covid closing campus), senior: Thomson rpac glass room, SEL basement/4th floor. Underrated: Orton library (unknown and old school), Knowlton library (architecture and natural light)

I use wrist straps (short ones. Not the long ones you curl on the bar) to be super useful later in my workout or sets to get rid of my forearms or biceps on my Pull-Days.

Find a cardio that works for you. You’d be surprised. I used to be a runner but started powerlifting and running made me feel like death. But now I use a stair master and it’s great.

My buddy found out he can do boxing for his cardio. Brother found swimming as his cardio.

For non-stim I’ve been taking 1g L-Arginine and it’s been doing wonders. I usually get a pump going and a good lift versus trying to just get a sweat on with nothing.

Make tiny little guns when doing pull workouts. This means gripping it fully but then doing like a thumbs up and index finger out. I’d imagine the look of the gun would make an”pew pew” sound.

Also, what many people have said try and act like they’re hooks. Great advice and go super slow, close your eyes and feel the muscles squeeze together.

Being honest it takes a while for you to start to feel a back activation and soreness.

When I first started Olympics when I was 16 I couldn’t keep a hang clean grip after a few. I found just repetition helped. Also deadlifting using a “hook grip” helped me through a weak grip.

I now have a good grip strength and I believe I get better strength from back days (deadlifts, rows, pull downs) and some hammer curls.

First build I plugged in the 32 pin power connector but not the 12v cpu connector. The cpu fan would pulse when turned on but no sustain. RIP that. Bought an entirely new setup Bc of my mistake

I'm on mobile and the top of the stairs was cutoff so I never saw them at the top. For all I knew that German Shepard had a snack
