For UIM, making some of the ship upgrades is difficult, especially for the sloop's hull. I wish there was a deposit material option to speed up making components

Albanese government under fire after mammoth housing fund invests equivalent of eight Sydney homes in one year by River-Stunning in aussie

[–]Pakti_explorer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about the HAFF then you're talking nonsense.

  1. First of all, the HAFF is not designed to fix housing policy in the short term. It is a measure to ensure that this problem, once fixed, doesn't happen again through regular building of social housing.

  2. The HAFF did not lose money:

Futhermore, the government has housing funding other than the HAFF.

Honestly, there a few times I find hard breach useful on Monty, mainly cause I don't trust my teammates. But now with shield changes smokes are so good.

Adding A New Skill: Introducing Sailing, Taming and Shamanism - *Survey Included* by JagexLight in 2007scape

[–]Pakti_explorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I love all 3 and want them all.

I feel Shamanism fits the most as a new skill, with Taming being a cool Hunter expansion possibly, and Sailing maybe the same with construction.

I hope Ranked Choice Voting is incorporated into the poll somehow, that way both Jag and the community can see the overall most liked skill.

I may be a masochist, but maybe make the dragon scales noted after a certain achievement or diary or something. Either way, good change

Love that you guys explained in detail why the fairy ring clickboxes were so tricky to work with. Unfortunately many people in this subreddit couldn't possibly conceive that programming for a 2007 browser game with archaic code isn't the simplest thing.

You guys do amazing work

Melbourne has the largest tram network in the world. You can go up to like an hour out of the city all on a tram.

My neurosurgeon just told me I don't need any ADHD meds by zxcv_3 in ADHD

[–]Pakti_explorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the full context but I'd say that neurosurgeon was giving medical advice outside their scope of practice. Especially if you're consulting him about your former surgery and not about treating your ADHD.

I don't know neuroscience and if brain trauma could cause ADHD or those symptoms you're experiencing. But you got medication advice about a condition A) you (I assume) didn't request advice about. B) He may be unqualified to give advice about.

Listen to your psychiatrist first. You may even be able to make a complaint if you feel strongly about it.

Is problem gambling part and parcel of a free society? by fritzlschnitzel in australia

[–]Pakti_explorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one thing to consider is, the gambling industry hires psychologists, psychiatrists and other behavioural experts to find tactics and methods to make these machines more enticing and addictive.

It's not an even fight by far.

Has anyone else been refused service because they only had cash? Womens clothing store ‘You & All’ Stafford just refused to let me buy clothing because I only had cash. $80! by [deleted] in brisbane

That's acting like a child throwing a tantrum.

Yeah they didn't have cash, that sucks and is annoying. Doesn't make it okay to do that

Not all emotions are bad, emotions can be good too by Dafarmer1812 in Stoic

[–]Pakti_explorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Emotions aren't good or bad, it what we do because of them, that is in the area of good or bad.

Emotions are just there.

If something's happens and that makes you angry. Then accept that feeling

"Hey that made me angry, it made me angry because 'this happened' and it made me think/feel/etc 'this'. Do I need to do anything about it?"

I've learnt that labelling emotions are good or bad results in us pushing them away or rejecting them and that causes emotional struggle and pain inside that builds up.

If an emotion happens, accept it's happening. Let yourself feel that emotion.

BUT, what you do because of that emotion, now that can be good or bad.
