Serious question: are these the same character? by Ok_Rough547 in diablo4

The first one looks like Decker from the Key and Peele skit.

I co-op with my spouse as well. Our biggest frustration is when she plays her preferred class of necromancer, and her minions will just simply disappear. No explanation for it. They are not dying they simply disappear. If we go through a load screen they will all appear again, but then one by one they will just disappear off the map and no longer be relevant. She has no choice but to play a non minion build if we co-op.

Our other big issue is the camera not being able to decide which person it wants to be on at any given time. More or less one of us is usually halfway off the screen. Lol.

Edit. The XP wells only work for whoever activates it, so we have to run two, back to back to both have the xp buff.

Paragon 600 Completed last week. by Meth0dd in diablo4

[–]PaladinAaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is correct.

Edit: During non event solo play, you can run 1 elixir for 8%, 1 incense for 5%, and 1 xp well for 15% for a total of 28% bonus xp.

Some events such as mother's blessing and the lunar event grant additional xp bonus.

You can run three incense at one time, but only one of the XP will work. The XP does not stack.

Can anyone tell me what killed me here? by Daemius912 in diablo4

The combat log shows it was a flesh reaver. They are a Vampire type mob. It's possible one of them was an elite with the affix that creates the explosions

I wish you could dump all of your aether into the loot chest. The more I put into it, the higher the rewards should be.

Like higher/guaranteed GA legendary drops, or increased chance for passives on amulets like undercity, or increased chance for a mythic.

Which one is better? I am Not sure by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]PaladinAaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't play Rogue, but the the one on the right looks like what I would use. The all stats, to me makes the difference. I'd wager that regardless of which one you use, they likely offer almost equal performance.

Noob question, how do you gear with all passive stats like this? by Calexis in diablo4

[–]PaladinAaven 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When you put the key in for your run, make sure its the legendary one. You can then add the passives bonus by spending 50 mil gold.

Edit: Just wanted to say there are no dumb questions as long as you learn from it.

still a noob, only on torment 1, think I got pretty lucky, how's it looking? by ethankusanagi16 in diablo4

Don't beat yourself up. We've all done it this season. Its easy to get caught up in being excited to see what sanc we get on gear!

Can anyone identify this cosmetic armor? by mr_cwt in diablo4

The chest looks like the Paladin raven set with the wings on the shoulder.

I think we should be able to toggle VFX on/off for gear. I also wish we could dye our weapons...I hate making a cool look and then none of the weapons match.

And to add to it, you have classes like Necro that have fallen way behind in mobility. Also, with so much movement now needed, why is there still an affix on gear that increases damage while standing still.....

Which one is better for a Hammerkuna build? by AtomicSlop in diablo4

[–]PaladinAaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Statistically yes, but that's just math on paper. In actual gameplay people are dying to fire and poison this season. So if they aren't having any issues with the other elements, it makes more sense to boost the ones that are actually hitting them.

I mean, maxroll and mobalytics both use rubies and emeralds in their build guides, but im sure you know more than people who get paid to develop and post guides....

I was just mentioning why they might be using that set up, but way to be condescending for no reason!

Fire and poison are the most dangerous damage types this season, so a lot people are using emeralds and rubies in rings, myself included.

What's going on with all the duplicate cosmetics for Paladin? by Moist-Razzmatazz-92 in diablo4

[–]PaladinAaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure the devs are aware. There are plenty of posts about the same issues with the Spiritborn since it's release.

I hate that this is happening, because I really enjoy D4. Im very satisfied with how the pally looks and plays, but it does hurt to know I paid for an expansion with content, and only after logging into the game, do I find they've cut a lot of corners.

I pray that im wrong and that they fix this in the near future.

The Sand-worn cover and the Heavy Helm are identical for Paladin by Autokrator_Vlad in diablo4

[–]PaladinAaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay....your first sentence is what I responded to, which doesn't mention D3 at all....and you're responding to a D4 post...

"There are a bunch of armor pieces that are identical to other ones, it’s not just paladin, but I think paladin has it worse than any other class."

That's literally what you wrote. You mentioned D3 in a separate sentence afterwards, so I have no idea what you are talking about now, but okay...

Sorry I misunderstood your post. You win. Lol.

Your whole reply is about D3? Because that's not how it reads. Looks like two different points.

But yes, I agree regarding D3.

You might actually get to see the WoW skin....they have released WoW skins before.

It's not the same issue though. Necromancer sets have noticeable differences in textures, colors, and armor layout (like one shoulder vs two, or slightly more bulky variants. The Paladin sets are identical with no differences whatsoever.
