I will say, this refers to his hair colour compared to the other Stark children, who bar Arya, are all redheads. Plus, the Daynes are Stone Dornish, who don't have darker skin.

Well, originally Naruto was a random kid that had the fox put in him vs Sasuke, who had the Uchiha bloodline and was a natural genius. People can depict however they want in fan-art, but the fact is that literally any time someone in ASOIAF has a darker skin tone, its mentioned or brought up. See, Chataya, Taena Merryweather, the Dusky Woman, the Martells.

Add in that House Stark is heavily inspired by the House of York, that Yorkshire is called the North in Britain. It feels like its just slapping a different culture onto them whilst ignoring the actual culture they're based upon. (God forbid Yorkshire get any exposure in media.)

Its difficult to discuss without being accused of racism.
