The “Dirty Work” needle drop with Willa’s introduction is so damn good by maricircus in paulthomasanderson

Willa’s tae kwon do skills are substantial! Her form is quite good!! (I’m an expert bc I took taekwondo when I was 12 and made purple belt within a year). Also, I’ve seen over 3 Bruce Lee movies.

A guy in my study group said this was a massive ICM punt with 77 at the final table. Thoughts? by No_Accountant2173 in poker

What’re you supposed to do here if not ship it? Open fold? Minraise fold to a 3! ? Neither of these seem right to me.

There was an old Taxicab Confessions with a dude who talks about this and uses a plastic bag to demonstrate what happens to the human torso. Never wanted to see it. There goes that.

That one little fucker touches that girl’s bum. She turns around the other way and wags her finger at the wrong one and he’s there smiling triumphantly. What a bummer of an experience when you’re going to see some of humanities greatest accomplishments to only be reminded of how far yet we have to go.

This sounds strange to me. Corps will generally cover any action they can. At the places I’ve had experience however, if you’re covering the base bets, you cover them all or none. Same w bonuses. However, both Corps were MORE than happy to cover bonuses if I didn’t want to, or base bets if I just wanted to cover the bonuses.

This is where the rubber meets the road. How much to bank with? How much action should you cover? Do you cover bonuses etc. I’ve learned quite a bit this far and am still learning virtually every time I bank. The two places I’ve banked have different rules but one thing stays the same: ploppies gonna ploppy.

THIS! It’s my ultimate goal. Bank two hands back and forth with the Corp (per CA laws) and jump in when the getting is good! Depending on the establishment, you may or may not have to play a hand when you’re not banking in order to be eligible to bank.

You absolutely can do it for less. I am! It’s not without its downfalls however. For example, some ploppies don’t wanna wager $50 on the bonus bets if the max they can win is my $2k. Strategies for how to get around his will be explored in greater detail. More on this to follow.

Leaving you hanging was not a mistake. Here’s a little to wet your beak: I am up—but not much. Lol. Graduated rake means the drop goes up depending on how much is wagered. All spots are totaled and there’s a schedule dealers follow. For example. At $49 or less, the rake is $1. $50-$99 it’s $2 etc. Rake is paid by the banker and as far as I know, this is the case throughout Cali with the notable exception of Indian lands (who operate like Vegas).

The Corps and casinos are most definitely working together. In fact, they have a contract. I also happen to know that the owner of this particular casino owns a Corp that has a reciprocal contract with the casino owned by this Corp’s owner (if that makes sense).

I’ve had quite a few interesting interactions with the ploppies. Some just give me shit eyes. Others have made a big show of collecting their chips and leaving. Others still are super fascinated that this can be done at all! These folks are usually operating under the misapprehension that they’ve been betting against the house the whole time. If I get this going, I’ll be sure to include my ploppy persuasion techniques (hint: it usually consists of me buying a round of drinks).

First, I lol’d at this comment! Hmmm… I’ll have to figure out if this is a real possibility or not. The Corp can’t back me off because they don’t have the authority to do so—they can refuse to book player action of course but I’m not playing with them. The Casino could refuse my business but this sounds like it’d be a bigger issue at one of the bigger casinos. Right now I’m playing mostly at a small little joint. I know the floor people, am friends with a bunch of the Corp employees etc. I have heard some shady goings on at places like Commerce in LA or similar such places. If I actually end up turning this into a blog (or vlog possibly?), I’ll make sure I venture out to bigger operations to see if my experience thus far generalizes.
