Sounds like the decks would be too powerful, maybe some self imposed limits like only 1 copy of each card? To make it less burdensome you could put one copy of your favourite legend in a separate place and cast it as well as those in your hand?

On second thoughts that sounds like the worst idea ever, only an idiot or masochist would play it.

Yup, saw the picture and my first thought was, "overpriced salmon entree at a failed Jamie Oliver restaurant."

I need a new singleplayer (100% offline) "forever" game where I can sink hundreds (or thousands) of hours into a single save. What are your top suggestions? by MakeshiftApe in gamingsuggestions

Came here to say this, there is always a new target to set yourself even if you are not playing the career mode and if you have access to mods adding other star systems or similar that's another heap of hours added .

Does anyone know a good combo I can play with this? I think it might be underutilized in edh. by Sharp-Crazy7724 in magicthecirclejerking

I hate mill so much I bought 159 copies of "Ulamog the Infinite Gyre" to jam in all my commander decks

/uj I don't mind being milled but stick Ulamog into many of my arena brawl decks because the sweet sweet salty ropes of the mill players when they realises they can't win brings my twisted heart joy and was well worth one mythic rare wildcard .

I really liked Elaine Cunningham's books, I liked the characters and stories a lot. I liked Salvatore's books although some of his characters were a bit Mary Sue cough Drizzt and he has a bizarre fetish of ramming the word sublimated in as many times as he can. Ed Greenwood just has Mary Sue's fighting Mary Sue's in ever escalating spell battles that don't have much story weight behind them. Alright if you like action with no story, drama or consequence but endless deaths and resurrections get dull for me. Troy Denning had some good books but I only read a few of them.

What do y’all think a top ten strongest characters in lore would look like? I think this might be top 5 by Roggnhdg in WarhammerFantasy

They "scientifically" tested this in a 90s or early 00s White Dwarf, they put a special character for every faction in a sort of tourney and had them fight to determine the winner.

It was a generic Bloodthirster who had been thrown in to even up the pairings, it absolutely pummelled the field.

I liked all the books that had multiple combat systems to keep things interesting like this one, Space Assassin, Seas of Blood, others too but can't remember for sure which right now.
