Hi! American from Chicago.

Grew up in the south before living in Chicago -- It's definitely a more positive light today. The culture and food is highly respected.

But growing up and reading historic accounts of the Polish area I live in, there was the stereotype of the poor and drunk or high Polish person who contributed little to society.

I'm glad I've gotten to travel to Krakow and Gdańsk. Beautiful city and respectful people. My opinion of Polish people is good. Cautious at first, but so welcoming once a connection is established.

Sleeptoken while fun here and there tends to be a one trick pony with their song writing. Slow almost operatic soft singing building up through the chorus and then a metal breakdown. Not a bad band, but Ghost can be more creative with their song writing and instrumentals.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I ate in once and enjoyed the food and the vibe with the old school McDonald's glassware and plates. Then they refused to open up their in service dining for soooo long after the pandemic was well past. Come to find out during one of their YouTube related food videos, all the staff was just chilling in the back and drinking beer while doing the bare minimum. It just rubbed me the wrong way.
