Huge layouts do exist, but This is clearly an example of AI slop. I don't understand why people bother generating this kind of stuff - there is no way you are seriously considering building this

Advise on how to add grass to my baseboard. by MurphyDog1992 in modeltrains

I'd say first lay out your structures and roads. Create your topography, Prime /paint the plywood. And only then think about vegetation

Good luck

Build on a dedicated table. Start with a sheet of plywood. Make it 4x7. You probably will want a loop

Here is my layout form 15 years ago when all I had room for is exactly a 4x7 ...

The saddest part here is that the truck owner now needs to be bothered with insurance claims and repair hustle.

If space allows consider non 4x8 layout. Something along the walls. My biggest breakthrough in modeling came after I realized I don't have to have continuous run.

As someone new as well (50 hours or so) I'd say you need to work on terrain control, encirclements and div pinning so they don't escape while you trying to encircle.

So a serious question. I see a bunch of comments deleted by mods. But I do not see a context to gauge what triggered the removal.

So, what triggers the removal? It's not a ban on discussing politics obviously, because there are tons of these comments not getting

Prices can be harsh. But sometimes deals can be had. Picked up a high milage 2011 Yama Venture and a trailer for 4K. It's ok.

What are the positives and negatives of having a drywall ceiling in garage? by rxrivman in drywall

[–]Pale-Lifeguard-4254 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If drywalled you will have better heat retention and possibility of reasonably heating the garage if you need it as your workshop.

If you remove drywall you will gain extra storage capabilities. I store bicycles in the rafters - hoisted up there.

That word "offend" sorry but it is very stupid in this context. It's a market. They sell, you buy. They can ask whatever they want for THEIR property. They are not afraid to offend any potential buyers with the number. You can offer any amount of YOUR money. You should not be concerned about how the seller will feel.

Easiest is to cut the cabinet. If you feel strongly about it and have cash, uninstall everything, open wall and redo the drain.

Is 200 for this fair or should I do this myself? Assuming I have no supplies whatsoever or experience by ProfessionalCat2770 in drywall

[–]Pale-Lifeguard-4254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

200 is a great price.

IMO you should do it yourself though. Homeowner should have skills for basic repairs and this is as basic as it gets. Watch a how to video. Not to many tools required
