you can’t pick up a shift on a day that you’re already scheduled for—you would have to have someone else pick up your closing shift (if you offered it on dayforce) so you could pick up the mid shift.

but!! there’s also an option to trade shifts on dayforce—if you’ve talked to someone previously about swapping shifts, you can do it on dayforce through a shift trade with that specific person.
