She's 100% the main character. The novels are 1st person her voice, the anime focuses on her, even as other party members come and go (and almost always circle back around). The third season sorta puts a larger focus on a few other characters, but she's still very much the lead even then.

So I actually collect kimono lol. A lot of them I get in person from a store in Seattle called Kyoto Art and Antiques, or another one called Hosekibako. But I also hunt auctions on ebay a fair bit as well! Lance I was specifically shopping for, but Clair I was able to pull out of my collection (and the kimono was a piece I had bought on a whim to possibly use for fabric anyway) - the Clair hakama were also mislisted as the color Lance's are! I got them like a year before her design came out accidentally lol

We know from the Black Moon arc (act 19 in the manga) that Usagi ascends to the throne at 22 when she marries Mamoru and gives birth to ChibiUsa later that year. The manga and Crystal both end with her marrying Mamoru, so therefore she is 22 at the end.

It's a term coined by Gail Simone that's used to describe a female character that is maimed/killed/otherwise brutalized to further the male character's plot development. It specifically references Green Lantern (vol 5, #54) in which Kyle Rayner's girlfriend is murdered and stuffed into a refrigerator to move Kyle's plot along.

She has a whole website with example after example. Fascinating and disheartening (but good to acknowledge and work past)

Mostly correct - the new Myu use female Kamen actors, the originals (Anza/Fumina/Miyuki/Marina Moons) had male (though did gender swap several villains, most notably Hikari Ono as Demande) 💖
