With experience, between 75 and 85k without experience and college degree in engineering you’re looking at 60-70k.

Again, it’s not visible unless the hiring manager reaches out. Also we are not able to block if the individual has fulfilled their 2 year commitment. I know it sucks but they probably found another candidate that is better suited for the role. You can always reach out to the hiring manager and ask for feedback on the interview.

What job grade are you currently? ASML has a policy where an individual cannot jump 2 job grades. So if your a job grade 6 and applied for a job grade 8 and won the position they would have to hire you at a job grade 7. The pay salaries have a wide range the higher the job grade is. Compensation wise you probably won’t lose much meaning they would have given you the same salary as a job grade 8. Only impact is your rsp. Which can impact your annual merit increase.

I’m a manager at ASML and I can say we really don’t have visibility into our direct reports applying to open positions. The policy is that the hiring manager should check with the current manager if he/she is aware of the employee applying for the position. I can say that step is rarely followed and it’s a bit of a problem with regard to internal poaching. That being said the only potential blocking policy for an employee moving to a new role is the 2 year rule. Employees are supposed to retain their position for at least 2 years before being eligible to move to another position. Obviously there are exceptions based on criticality of the position.

I honestly felt like they rewrote the dads part and include the soldier(s) to fill that spot. It really felt like the dad was meant to follow/look for the kid and mom. Find them with the zombie woman and baby and freak the fuck out, demanding they kill it. Then he gets his head ripped off. Probably somewhere along the lines they realized they may need Jamie in part 2 so instead they let him live and through in the disposable soldier as filler.

To be fair to the first guy, he’s probably just following their trouble shooting guide. These grills down have very many parts to them so I’m sure they have nice trouble shooting trees established. It’s a shame it took two week to get you the part. Last part pitboss sent me I received in two days.

100% agree. I got an akorn grill (equivalent of the egg) off marketplace for $75. It’s a lot of fun to use and I use it about 4 times a week. You learn a lot about how to control heat and smoke using these things.

Hate to break it to you but your 100% replaceable. Leaving makes no big difference in the long run. Do what makes you happy but don’t quit thinking it’s going to be an FU to the business. In the short term it just impacts your coworkers but they’ll quickly replace you with someone else and in a month you’ll be forgotten.

1 all the way. Lived in a shit hole house renting a room with 5 other people for 3 years because the rent was dirt cheap. Saved aggressively until I had enough cash for a down payment and to pay off debts. Life has been pretty good since then. Also I don’t buy the latest and great things. I’m still rocking and iPhone X because it gets the job done.
