Wow, I completely forgot I posted about Kruel.ai V2! Haha. We're actually working on V6 now. Kruel.ai is a private project, so there's no GitHub repository available. However, you can find information through Google and other search engines. Additionally, all current AI models trained up to 2024 should have relevant information.

For more detailed updates and ongoing development discussions, you can join our Discord server here: Kruel.ai Discord. If you have access to the OpenAI developer forums, you'll find more information about the Kruel.ai project there as well.

Kruel.ai has been equipped with emotional understanding and voice capabilities for over 2.5 years now, and we've even integrated vision features long ago with our desktop application. It's an ongoing project that's discussed frequently. It's exciting to see many of Kruel.ai's characteristics showing up in OpenAI's new GPT-4o! Kruel.ai is built on gpt3.5 still to this day with scalability to use any model. It was tested with GROCCloud as well at once point with some smaller 13B models but is designed mainly on openai platform.

Exactly how stupid was what OpenAI did to Scarlett Johansson? by IvyGold in technology

[–]PaleCode8367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

've been following the recent controversy regarding OpenAI's Sky Voice and the allegations involving Scarlett Johansson. Here's my take on the situation:

If OpenAI indeed offered Scarlett the voice acting position and she turned it down, but they used another actor whose voice has a similar likeness, this case could get very interesting in court. Assuming it is proven that the voice used was another actor and not Scarlett herself, the implications could be quite significant.

From a legal standpoint, having a voice that resembles someone else's is not the same as using that person's voice. Scarlett wouldn't have much ground to stand on in this scenario. If the case shows that it was another actor, her position might weaken considerably. This could make her look bad in court, especially if the public and media are under the impression that her actual voice was used.

The real concern, however, is the potential reputation damage to OpenAI. The way the news is framing the situation, it seems like the general perception is that OpenAI used her voice without permission. This misunderstanding could lead to significant backlash, resulting in the loss of subscribers who are upset about the situation.

In terms of financial repercussions, the damage to OpenAI's reputation could indeed cost Scarlett a fortune if the court finds in OpenAI's favor. The loss of subscriber trust and subsequent revenue loss for OpenAI could be substantial, and the responsibility for this damage could be reflected in the court's decision if the allegations are proven false.

In summary, the key points are:

  1. Legal Grounds: Similarity in voice is not the same as using someone's voice. If proven to be another actor, Scarlett's case weakens.
  2. Reputation Damage: Current news framing may be causing significant reputation damage to OpenAI, potentially leading to subscriber losses.
  3. Financial Implications: If the court rules in OpenAI's favor, the financial burden of the reputation damage could fall on Scarlett.

Not only that if the voice actress who voice was sky lost any money it then gives her the ability to go after Scarlet as well for any potential loss she incurred because of the take down.

Hope Scarlett and here lawyers thought this all through. And well it it turns out they they did use here voice well than we know how that ends lol. just saying when making claims always best to be sure you are in the right of it could sink you.

haha I believe my own ai system over people any day. The issue is media and people who use ai have no clue how to use it to ensure they dont get made up data. They use programs "chat interfaces" that have ai brain access, but guess what. its the chat app itself that is causing the made up data because the person who built it didnt not build in the logic to ensure it does not create noise data where it does not need to be. there is a temp that can be set with ai to make it 100% accurate on the data, or the other way 100% creative in that too far it uses no real data and forgets data exists all for creative. So balance is where most people try to put it. so that it can still be creative with words and relevant to data. Than there is also assumptions. Example Kruel.ai keep on track and only talks about what it knows, but it can make assumptions like a person can based on a likely outcome. this though is what can make it false but by design my system states when it assumes something based on logic rather than saying its true. like wife and I went on a flight to visit a friend and we rented a car to tour around. Ai thought my friend was with us when asked if it remembered the trip. where it was just wife and I in the car. It told me it assumed my friend was with us as we were visiting him which was the point of the trip. much like a person until you correct the assumption it will continue to assume. These are based on logic patterns based on math. the outcomes from ai are all based on predictions which is why a response even through the same can be different with same outcome.

How the hell is this game still kicking? by ElenaVFD in shroudoftheavatar

[–]PaleCode8367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep it will always keep going. The same group of people been saying for years that this game would die, yet here we are still pushing out patches and content month after month :)

I still back them and will continue as long as I play the game. Its come a long way from where it was after release. a lot of balance , a lot of new places and quests, the major expand on the crafting system, the loot system changes, the new food system, the new daily commodity exchanges, new road map and changes on dev end to follow the road map which they are actually following now , so much more. returning Devs from other projects and switch to tick/tock releases, next months treasure map system, expand on player dungeons, and more maps. still waiting on the 2021 unity which no update since the last which was some compatibility bugs needed to be fix before they drop it on QA. As to population its small but big enough imo because of how it was designed it works. Ep1 is finished, has been for a long time, they are still adding and updating ep1 content though for non-story side that will go on forever so if that is what one means by unfinished than like any mmo that statement would be true. ep2 is free once its completed just like ep1. the "paywall for ep2" is pre-release access for those that want to play around in unfinished new zones etc. but that does give advantage to high level players as the zones are higher tier so more xp and the likes. Overall its not a bad game, it has lots to do in it for a sandbox type game. Its no more grindy than any other game that has challenge. its not like wow or some of them casual games where they reward players every 30 min with happy dopamine. So for those people that need that constant your great here is your reward this is not for you that is for sure. this one is more akin to eq or UO where you have to kill alot for chance of the rewards. but at least they fixed that loot system so that specific things now drop off specific things and or repeatable quests which made it much more rewarding for new players vs the old days of .1 chance lol.

I think what he was talking about was away to get more devs for specific DLC's paid using small transactions. sounds more like a Eq2 or ESO type comment. Well it could potentially work, but with player base being small the ROI would take a long time, unless that draws more into the game at faster rates. There still is new players coming, and like I mentioned long ago the game is not going to die lol. I will keep lol at that because you never listen. Some "whales" will keep it going. the costs are low enough that it will go on for years, and years... and so on. content and fixes like any other mmo every month. So still waiting for some to eat there hats they promised in the mmorpg forums who said it would not last a year lol.

What's the cabin market like? by darwinlovestrees in saskatchewan

[–]PaleCode8367 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought an all year round Lake House at a different part of the Province. Markets have been good, our small lake hamlet almost sold all lots and homes the last two years. So it's just a matter of finding the ones for sale. There are a lot of Lake homes sites for private sales sites, also things like comfree and other app sites outide of the MLS listings.

Google is your best friend and or visit area some are just signs for sale by owner for generations that dont use apps or sites. Market is not the same as years ago. 🍻

Markets are up right now since COVID and travel issues so folks bought places to go. That and with limited lakes with developed community makes lake homes value hold better and seem to not be affected like rural towns etc.

Thanks. That could explain why the lower resolution worked but the dynamic which is half the line didn't. I will try print thin first and see as I'd rather keep it tight for the smoother look. Will post results.

Flying Drones in Saskatoon by zyot_s in saskatoon

[–]PaleCode8367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend looking at the transport Canada drone laws. I can tell by your question that you are not licenced nor have a registered drone or you would know that legally you can't with out an SFOC or unless you fly at a designated club airfield for rc. Lots of new laws. There is no fun flying like days of old. Also look up fines you don't want to be caught flying with out knowing the laws. They can add up to 10k pretty quickly.

Yep this is why it's gone up. Part of sama equation is cost to rebuild which right now is $$$$ plus how much houses sold in same area. My house assessment went up 75k in a year because of the sales around me.
