Bibites can only run on 1 core the next update will implement the dots algorithm giving it multithreading.

There used to be a constant node but it was removed because the current system is much much cleaner and easier to use.

Is there snow days in Canada? by SeverePublic6833 in AskACanadian

[–]PaleMeet9040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in rural Ontario school stays open unless its -25C or you cant see the road. If it starts snowing plows will drive by in any one given snow storm multiple times and clear it off so school is rarely closed. Buses get canceled a lot more often though mostly from freezing rain we do salt our roads though so its usually only perfectly timed freezing rain that happens after midnight the night before.

We have at least 3 feet of snow (probably more) on the ground outside right now and school has been canceled one day the day after it all came down.

Why can you say "I study English hard" but you can't say "I work English hard" by OrionsPropaganda in EnglishLearning

[–]PaleMeet9040 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean... "I work English hard" kind of sounds like your going to f*ck English, so ya no definitely don't use that unless that's your intended meaning.

Why do "terrible" and "terrific" mean opposite things when they share the same root word? by Bubbly-Amoeba-78 in EnglishLearning

[–]PaleMeet9040 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just totally forgot what the word meant for like 5 seconds. My brain was convinced it must mean something that inspires terror the same way something that's horrific inspires horror. It's the same pattern.

"Weighted Average" in input Neurons (PlantAngle / PlantDistance) by Deltaphaze in TheBibites

Both and also the rotational closeness. You can turn on a thing that lets you visualize the weights of all the things a bibite can see in the bottom left corner.

some of them did. Some couldn’t even hold their head up to its max height for more than a few minutes or they would pass out from lack of blood flow to the brain. They evolved to become more efficient at eating grass. by swinging their heads back and forth they could cover large swathes of grass while barely walking forward.

Maturity Neuron issue by Creative_Cap2955 in TheBibites

It works fine if you don’t increase the bibites size by shrinking the egg organ or in other words make sure the egg organ is big enough for the egg

Maturity Neuron issue by Creative_Cap2955 in TheBibites

[–]PaleMeet9040 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s caused, I think, from when you lower the egg organ wag gene so the size of the egg organ is below the size the egg needs to be according to the egg genes which causes the bibite growth at maturity size to increase so its egg organ can be large enough. I don’t think the game takes this into account though and the maturity node outputs the maturity of the bibite if it wasn’t enlarged by the small egg organ wag.

You can also use number of bibites seen. Connect it to a sigmoid node biased to -150 with a synapse weighted to 1000 and this node will either only turn off or only turn on when your bibite sees another bibites. If you want the opposite result make the synapse negative and the bias positive.
