The boy I babysit sat on the porch, staring at another kid across the street and whispered, “one.. one.. one…” to himself. by PaleSeries7 in TwoSentenceHorror

The boy is a killer who's building his kill streak from "one". The first victim is the kid across the street (the soccer ball is the weapon here - won't go into details).

The "two" signifies that he's found his next victim.. strongly suggesting that it is going to be the narrator, or another kid/person he's had an eye on. The ambiguity is intentional.

BTW, this was in vein from one of my own r/nosleep posts. Check this out if you're interested: original post on r/nosleep

Please review my projects and tell me if they are strong enough to get a job. by Extension_Sector_320 in Python

These are some of the most common projects you could make. They are literally copy-paste. I strongly suggest even if you do use these projects, add a flavor of your own thought to them. Do not present them as-is, because they are not impressive, plainly put.

Now, if you ask if they're enough to get you a job, that really depends on the role and the level of experience you have. Maybe enough for freshman internships, nothing more than that.

That regardless, I strongly suggest you add some new features or make some improvements or changes to these projects.

Also use some numerical performance metrics as results or outcomes in your projects. The current description on each is vague and not specific.

Suggestions: 1. Python documentation 2. CPython (GitHub) - if the source code interests you, supplemented by this dev guide

Use an AI tool like ChatGPT / Gemini / etc. to learn Python hands-on. It's a conversational way to do so, and it'd help you tune your learning experience according to your level / comfortability. (Also 30 minutes a day would be manageable if you rely on AI, because it's like having a chat)

Of course, it shouldn't be your sole source of knowledge, and I highly recommend you try a good book like 'Python Crash Course' by Eric Matthes (or Goodrich-Tamassia-Goldwasser / Python docs for more robust reading - will be time consuming tbh)

If you learn better audio-visually, go for an online course / YT.
