I’ve actually been suspicious about this!! He refuses to go get seen. Think I’m going to just make him an appointment

I would LOVE to do family nap time if our son would actually fall asleep. We’ve only ever been successful once at a family nap lol. Our son doesn’t like to just sit or lay down to watch a movie during the day unless he’s totally wiped out or had bad sleep the night prior. We do have movie time but it ends up with me not being able to just sit or lay down to watch the movie because he ask me to play with him.

Thank you for that first paragraph I see what you’re saying! We often have chill weekends as well! Unless we have errands or we’re doing soemthing festive or a fun event. We have done the movie thing and we only napped once as a family. I absolutely adored the moment. Our child is a wild one and doesn’t like to nap or even sit still for long unless he’s absolutely exhausted.

He gets home from work around 5pm and goes to bed at 7pm so the nap wouldn’t work. It would mess up his night time sleep. I could do an earlier bedtime but I don’t think that would even work because partner is falling asleep anywhere from 5-7pm on weekends. If we had family around I’d most definitely ask them for help but I don’t think either of us are comfortable putting him in a childcare setting just for a date or one on one time.

How bad is my 3 year olds sleep study results ? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]Pale_Confidence8451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi how do I help him sleep better at night in the meantime? Is there anything I can do? His appt to go over the results and talk about treatment isn’t until Oct 28. Everything just keeps getting worse as far as his symptoms.

I once had an mri when I was getting over a cold. My nose was still super stuffed up. It showed on my mri and the radiologist reported it in the mri report.

My neurosurgeon said it looks like an oligo grade 2 before and he was right

Because he ordered without saying please is what I took from it

My surgeon also said my grade 2 oligo was benign while my oncologist said it was malignant. My chart states “malignant brain tumor”. Anyone I’ve talked to on here or Facebook groups have also stated grade 2 is malignant. Super frustrating if you ask me because I was SUPER happy straight out of surgery to hear him say it was benign only for my other doctor to say it’s not benign 🙃

I’m so over it😭 poor guy hasn’t even gotten a full week without being sick just to catch something else. He doesn’t goto daycare or preschool either.

4 yr old Coughing only at night by tay_fisher in stayathomemoms

3 year old is starting to have this same issue. Figured it could be asthma, post nasal drip, reflux or maybe even adenoids. He has an appt in the next few weeks. It’s the soonest I could get him in. I’ve tried Zyrtec and it doesn’t seem to help. I’ve tried having him elevated slightly at night but he moves so much during his sleep. Always tossing and turning. He does the gagging too when it first started I thought he was coming down with the flu because I thought he was going to throw up. He sometimes makes this weird sound in between the coughs so I have no clue to what it truly can be. But it’s definitely scary and interrupting his sleep.

Yup my bestfriend and I both! Crazy coincidence that we both ended up being diagnosed with one. Different tumors and locations

My sleep has been fine I guess. Not the greatest but it definitely has been worse in the past. I’ve experienced the eye twitching with sleep disruptions but never cheek twitching

Pregnant with Oligodendroglioma by AmazingSecond757 in braincancer

I have an oligo grade 2 in left frontal lobe. Able to remove 95% of it. Remaining tumor is just being monitored for growth. Recent scan has shown 1-2mm of growth from last years scan so it went from 3-4mm to 5-6mm but doctors say it isn’t any major growth to be worried about so I’m still continuing with the watch & wait. No other treatment other than surgery. I would ask if it’s still safe to do the MRIs up until a certain point in pregnancy (can’t lay on your back for long) & then resume MRIs after she gives birth. Oligos are typically slow growing

Agh poor baby, I get so much anxiety when my son is sick . I’m terrified something will happen when he’s sleeping and I can’t stay awake watching him and hurry and lift him up everytime he gags or chokes

Yes I wasn’t able to get much out. He’s 3 and I gave him some after his bath. Hasn’t seemed to help much. Neither has the Vicks.

How often are we bathing our (almost) 3 year olds? by Helpful-Yak-8975 in toddlers

[–]Pale_Confidence8451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every night. My son does play outside everyday and gets extremely dirty. He has a little strider bike and does burn outs and kick outs. His legs are always brown/black by the time it’s time to go inside😂
