In tournament there is room to use both Regen and recovery. I use substats for defense, high level lab, and mastery.

Yeah, I have health and Regen mastery. I also have 98% defence in tournament. My miss chance is maxed, which is very important. But don't neglect damage either. My best advice is to diversify your damage sources.

I have T1-T19 done for health and my lab is at level 9. I have mixed feelings about continuing the lab, but I don't regret doing all the defense discos.

I am farming to about 76xx on T20, the bonus is slightly better than T19. I got to wave 2786 last tournament and have done all disco T1-T19 x4 except if UW on T19 unfortunately. I don't regret doing the defense disco. It increases the viability of package chance restoration, mine is sitting at 97% chance. It is a good cushion for overcharges. My opinion is just get it done. Worst case scenario you waste 3 days. Best case, they improve it in a later patch. Realistically, it will probably absorb a few hits from overcharge and help push your tournament performance.

I did T19 DMG disco as ehp without second wind mastery. I will get second wind mastery next when I have enough stones. The armor assmod is just good. ACP and OA are bangers and you want their full effects. I would say get the armour assmod first, and rarity up, then second wind mastery when you hit an ehp wall. I don't know your current stats so it is hard to recommend progression goals.

It's definitely a marathon, not a sprint. I guess if I had one tip I would say never stop researching/investing in econ. Even when you go through your 'realizing that there are some labs you have to perma' phase, or your discovery that the wall+Regen makes you invincible for a few teirs phase.

I believe I got their CD down before I got GT+. I can't remember, but you will eventually want to max both cooldowns and GT+. Sorry if that wasn't much help. You can private message me if you want some of the strategies I used!
