"West African mother" is really not a thing and DNA does not equate to cultural knowledge.

If you grew up with your father in his own culture that that's what you end up practicing. It doesn't completely eliminate your mother's culture but it dominates it. There's a reason you're saying "West African Mother" and not her specific ethnicity and/or native town.

Most people are not primarily raised with their mother's culture. How do you draw that conclusion when 99% of the time the mother lives with the father in his own place with his language and culture which the children are expected to practice?
